Heinz D.
Huh. Nothing I saw even had his name in the ring.
AFlaccoSeagulls
Lazor's offenses from what I recall made bad QB Andy Dalton into good QB Andy Dalton. Maybe it can do the same for bad QB Mitch Trubiski?
TENINCH
Everytime Trubiski completes a pass. That was a Trubiski Lazor Pass!
jrry32
He's not a good OC, but he's not calling plays, so I guess it doesn't matter.
SkippyX
Nick Foles went off in 2013 for Philly and Kelly (Coach) Shurmur (OC) and Lazor (QB coach) have reaped the benefits. Kelly got real ultimate power in Philly (lasted just under 2 years) and then the SF job (lasted 11 months) The only teams that hired any of those guys and reaped any benefits were the 2017 Vikings (Shurmur) for a while and the 2014 Dolphins (Lazor) who had a decent offense Best Andy Dalton was 2015 while Lazor was still in Miami. Dalton took a step back in 2016 with Lazor as QB coach and more steps back later with Lazor as OC in 17 and 18 I am sure injuries to Dalton and an aging core from a team that went 43-20-1 from 2012-2015 did not make his job easy. He regressed to an extent under Lazor, but some of that had to do with losing Marvin Jones and Sanu one year, and Zeitler and Whitworth the following. Lazor was very predictable with play-calling. He won't be doing that in Chicago anyway. Anyone know what his run games were like? Main duty of the Bears OC is designing and implementing the run game apparently, which is why Helfrich got fired. Saw Lazor had some decent success with Lamar Miller in his first year in Miami, but that was a good few years ago now.
tom cody
Seems like he's not going to be involved that much with Trubisky. IMO the Bears should have hired an OC to get the best out of Trubisky.
swede700
What's most problematic about Lazor is that he's often spent more than 2 years in a organization. I don't know if that's necessarily a result of him or not, but that's not usually a good sign of success.
kramxel
I remember like 5 or 6 years ago when he was going to be the next big thing... didn't work like that.

No OC worth his weight in gold would take on that job knowing that they will not be calling plays and having a big impact on game days. Plus you have a QB who is still a big work in progress and no job security past this coming season. Not very attractive.
