scar988
Quote 16. Atlanta Falcons - Kristian Fulton - CB - LSU This is just bad for Atlanta. They have Desmond Trufant, Isaiah Oliver and Kendall Sheffield under contract. Their real needs are at DT, DE, and OL. That's where they will likely go with their 3 picks in the top 55. I'd expect this to be either Javon Kinlaw, Mechti Bechton or Yetur Gross-Matos with how the board has fallen. Kinlaw is the ideal 1-technique to pair with Jarrett. Gross-Matos could be a good defensive end to throw into a rotation with Takk, Cominsky and Clayborn. And Bechton would be a perfect fit for a powerful LG to pair with the technicians of Jake Matthews and Alex Mack at LT and C. CHOMP_CHOMP
Bruce Arians doesnt draft QB. Never did in Arizona even when they were needed. He believes in veteran players. Also, dont like reaching for a guy at #17 who could be had later. Delpit, Becton, Kinlaw, Gross-Matos are all much better choices there for the Bucs.

flyguy1609
love the trade down for the lions but i think they'll go with Jeffrey Okudah. him slay and coleman would be the top 3 cb's. think theyll go for "cheap vets" on the d-line in FA

Giving up a fourth Rder for that is a solid price. Brissett would still be the starter entering the season giving Love a chance to learn the scheme and playbook and watching Brissett put the plays into action
.Buzz
A+ for the Jaguars. Need big guys badly but the value of Okudah and desperately needing LB help makes it hard to pass on either.

I highly doubt Miami wgo for Tannehill 2.0 and two OL in the 1st is overkill considering they may plug most of the OL holes in free agency. Take Isaiah Simmons or Jeff Okudah at 5, Mekhi Becton will move up once he tests but can be had later so I'd take Yetur Gross-Matos, then Becton, and finish with Jordan Love. BringinDaPain
No way, Carolina trades up for Tua Tagovailoa just to put him on the IR the 1st year. They would tank for Trevor before doing something like the above. Edited January 14, 2020 by BringinDaPain

The word is that no other team scouted Herbert more than Miami. Unless they make a move for Tua. I'm totally expecting Herbert at 5. Okudah or Simmons would be the right decision, but that's not the way QB needing teams work in the NFL. Miami will go QB at 5 or will pass on the class and throw another year for 2021 QBs. That said, it doens't sound like Tua will need to sit the year. He won't participate the draft process, but looks like the plan is for him to play in the 2020 season.

Someone will trade up to jump Miami for a QB and Detroit seem to be the logical trading partner.
animaltested
Seattle trading down twice, and out of the 1st round. Finally, THE ONE AND TRUE MOCK
SmittyBacall
Good looking mock. Well done. I will say that I have a hard time believing 5 QBs go in the first round, especially Jake Fromm (from State Farm). I think it's more likely he ends up a 4th round pick rather than a 1st round pick. Looking forward to round 2.
