It's a big deal because of all the negative already surrounding him and there is irrefutable proof it did happen. I agree with most of your comment. It wouldnt be THAT big of a deal. I still think charges wouldve been pressed but it wouldnt have been as polarized. This was dumb. It doesnt matter to me that it was OBJ. BSRF, if it were you and I'd heard about it, I would've thought you were an idiot for your actions. Why put yourself in that position because of such immaturity? Now, as far as punishment by the league...idk that I believe that is a necessary step. But somebody needs to get in his ear and tell him to chill and let things quiet down for a while.
