Former LSU Joe Brady signs with Carolina Panthers as OC

Will they ship Newton off for draft capital and then be aggressive with said capital to get Burrow? Not saying they can trade Newton for a 1st, but at least a 3rd is definitely possible considering what QBs have gone for recently in the trade market. And then they can bundle picks to try to trade up.

Joe Brady was a HUGE difference-maker at LSU. Actually, if you were to ask what the big key to their offensive Renaissance was, many people on here and elsewhere would point out Joe Brady and his system that he installed with that passing game. He played to the strengths of his players, which is EXACTLY what good coaches should do.

Curtis Samuel, DJ Moore, Christian McCaffrey... All are dynamic weapons that could be really fun in this offense.

Cam Newton can easily fetch a 1st rd pick if healthy (qb league and reasonable price tag) but I do not see carolina moving on from him just yet. Hes got one year left on his contract and they have the 7th overall. I think if they want a qb you they can get Tua by jumping the phins and have him sit behind Newton for the year. Kind of like teams did with Alex smith, Drew brees and Brett favre. If newton has a good season they can tag and trade him as he is only 30 years old so he has a good 5 years left if not more considering his time off this year healing. Either way I will be surprised if they cant get the best out of Newton between the Hc and OC
