mse326 Posted January 15, 2020 Share Posted January 15, 2020 I still think LSU. The offense for Clemson wasn't any different last year so no reason to think they'd do much better. The defense was obviously better, but I just think the LSU offense was too on point. They were only held under 30 once all year (to Auburn). buno67 Posted January 15, 2020 Share Posted January 15, 2020 I think im taking '18/'19 Clemson. I just think that DL they had that year would have been a real difference-maker. Burrows made a lot of big plays last night when Clemson had to blitz to create pressure. '18/'19 Clemson could sit back with 7 guys in coverage and allow their DL to wreck everything. LSU loved going empty, so once an opposing defense brought an extra guy, Burrows would make them pay. That Clemson could have countered and just let their DL bring all the pressure.
