ChazStandard
People will always pick the most recent, that's nature, but I think the majority are under-rating Cams season. The team had no decent weapons outside Olsen, and then Cam played much better in the play-offs.

And Jackson's weapons outside of Mark Andrews aren't anything special, either.

Wasnt Ted Ginn Cams best WR?

If not dude sat out 1 1/4 worth of games sitting out in blowouts, otherwise the stat disparity here would be worse. What’s more the Ravens in the regular season had the #1 SOV in the league, while playing 5 of the top 6 defenses in the league... the only other one they didn’t play were themselves. He lit up poor defenses and quality defenses alike. 2 hours ago, ITS_RAMMY_PLAYBOI said: The Oline is elite and so was the run game. Wasnt Ted Ginn Cams best WR? A veteran Ted Ginn is better than a hobbled Hollywood Brown playing through ankle and foot injuries. And the run game was 31st ranked before Lamar took over last season. If it’s elite clearly his impact on the offense played a part in galvanizing it forward and establishing its identity.

Our OL was elite this year, no doubt. Cam's OL was only above-average. And yes Ted Ginn was Cam's best WR, and he outperformed Marquise Brown (a rookie), who is Lamar's best receiver: Rushing Receiving Rk Player Year G Att Yds TD Y/A Lng Rec Yds TD Y/R Lng 1 Marquise Brown 2019 14 0 0 0 0 46 584 7 12.7 83 2 Ted Ginn 2015 15 4 60 0 15.0 43 44 739 10 16.8 74 Ted Ginn was good that year, FWIW. But I mean Greg Olsen had 1,100 yards receiving for the Panthers that year. Dude was just about unstoppable. And what made the Ravens run game elite was Lamar Jackson among anything else, so not sure how that's supposed to be a knock against him.
bzane
Lamar was fantastic this season, but he's got YEARS to go before he can equal Cam for hair! Edited January 18, 2020 by bzane
