And how many people would have said he'd have surgery on both ankles, a broken wrist, and a serious hip injury behind one of the best offensive lines in America before age 22?  Unless he's Mr Glass, no doctor is going to say he is prone to getting hurt again.

To be fair, both ankle surgeries were unnecessary.  Tua opted for them to speed up the recovery process so he could get on the field.

Short term commendable, but it's still knives into tissue and a red flag for long term durability.

Has any team ever had multiple top 5 picks in the same draft before?

Going back a ways the Bears, who were really struggling, got **** Butkus and Gale Sayers in the same draft. Some say it was fixed. Regardless, they basically fixed their offense and defense with picks number 3 and 4.

This is pretty pathetic conjecture from a Jets writer. Dillard isn't going anywhere, if he was then we would have retained Jason Peters.

I think he meant it like "Hey Jets fans, Joe Douglas has drafted a tackle before recently and he has worked out pretty well. This is what you have to look forward to this year". But he's Manish Mehta, so he left it vague on purpose to get clicks and engagement.
