Carolina now is more likely to draft a QB while Denver is less likely. It also makes their draft positions much more open to a trade. Carolina was already, but now 9 is as well. I have no clue what the Panthers are gonna do. From what I have heard and what I actually believe, I think they take Lance/Sewell or trade back. Trading out seems to be their strong preference. carl_sjunior Posted April 28, 2021 Share Posted April 28, 2021 Could be that Denver doesn't think their guy at QB is gonna be there, and they probably weren't able to trade up to secure him. Sounds like 3-4 QBs could be gone by pick 8. I'd expect a trade to 7 for someone to move up for QB, or Carolina has their eye on one.
