I'm not a fan of the DE in this class personally, outside of Young. If I needed a DE and couldn't get Young, I would wait until the 4th or so and get Weaver, Anae, or maybe Willekes.

I like Willekes also and agree 100% with everything you said. Very weak except that top guy. He's real damn good.

I love the 3rd-4th Round EDGE class. Just as deep as WR, just not top-heavy. Darrell Taylor, Jonathan Greenard, Joshua Uche, Alton Robinson, Kenny Wilekes, Curtis Weaver. EDGE’s galore.

I'll be tallying all results in the Mock Section again this year, if you guys wanna make a mock in the mock section.

Suppose the Jags was wanted to get in on the QB derby, 9+20 on the value chart would get them up to the 3rd overall pick.

Do we think Detroit would prefer 9 and 20 or 9 and Ngakoue?

Not many rumors this year

I bet that's cos 90% of this stuff came from people congregating together at pro days.

I go the opposite direction. I think this EDGE class sucks after the first round. There are some guys with high potential but flawed film (Uche, Taylor, Robinson, Zuniga, Okwara, Garvin). There are some guys with a lot of savvy who are short on traits (Greenard, Weaver, and Jennings). But there's a lack of talented depth imo.

I am a big fan of Uche. I could see a world where each of the guys in the high potential bracket become good starters. But they're nothing close to sure things. Zuniga has speed and power, but he's better rushing from the inside right now and doesn't have much savvy or polish to his game as an EDGE. Robinson has bend, but he plays a weak, soft brand of football. Taylor has bend, explosiveness, and smoothness, but he was invisible for looooooooong stretches of time in college. Garvin has traits, but his work habits and motor seem awful.

On the other hand, Greenard and Weaver rush with a lot of savvy, but there are legitimate questions if they have the athleticism to stress NFL OTs. Savvy only takes you so far. And while Jennings does all of the little things well, his pass rush potential looks weak. Willekes is a try-hard JAG imo.
