3rivers
it appears he will be out of the vikings next season. If they can't trade him, and they release him, what do you think his market value is? can he play the slot or cover TE's?
Shanedorf
Nobody will trade for that contract and the vikes already shopped him with no takers. So he will be released Here's the valuation from OverTheCap https://overthecap.com/player/xavier-rhodes/2206/ Xavier comes in at $1.67 M for next year. That seems low, but he'll get some interest
vikingsrule
The Vikes are hurting for cap space. No way the keep him on the roster. Rhodes was one of the worst and most penalized starters in the league so why would anyone trade for him?

RaidersAreOne
I can't believe how far he has fallen. I remember him being mentioned as one of the top tier CBs not too long ago?

He doesn’t play with good technique and is always grabbing onto receivers. He’s not durable enough to be moved to Safety and you don’t want him anywhere near quicker slot receivers. RandyMossIsBoss
A 1 year deal for a couple million? I don't think he has a real place in this league anymore based on his recent play, but somebody will give him a chance on a short deal. Crazy decline he has had. He was a shut down corner following #1s in 2017.

candyman93
If Cleveland hires some Vikings guy, I can see them taking a chance. He wouldn’t be pressured to start. We need a big body CB.

ET80
The Texans like reclamation projects in the secondary like this (Tyrann Mathieu, Bradley Roby). Rhodes in a one year "prove it" deal anywhere between $11-13mm could be a possibility.

Look at his tape from 2019, it's really not good at all.

No offense taken - I'm personally not excited with the thought of bringing in guys like this, but that's the case without a 1st or 2nd round pick... You have to buy low on guys like this, and hope one of them hits.
