Zithers2
I would put Matt Paradis out there for the Panthers. The drop-off between him a random can't be that big and we'd save a ton of money. Dontari Poe and Jarius Wright are solid picks as well, as both are bad and being paid too much.
drew39k
Just a reminder. Just because you make a player available doesn't mean the expansion team will take them. If you have a bad contract that you want gone you can negotiate with the expansion team to take that bad contract by dangling a better player with them. Years ago the Jets wanted to get rid of Eric Coleman so they made Aaron Glenn available as well for the Texans.

Jags gave away like 3 or 4 guys to them and all 3 were solid but 1 was injury prone(the 1st jags pick ever tony boselli) but they got seth payne and gary Walker who were both starters for us.

Yeah, the salary cap was fairly new at the time, and Michael Huyghue really screwed up with cap management and contracts. That left the Jaguars in cap hell. They needed the Texans to take those contracts off the books to bail them out. The Texans ended up screwing the pooch, though, because they took Boselli instead of Willie Roaf (the Saints were also in cap trouble). Boselli never played another snap, while Roaf was elected to four or five more Pro Bowls with the Chiefs.

Id imagine KJ Wright (maybe, but could spark a lockerroom revolt) and Ethan Pocic would also be placed on the block.

Marshall, who cares? LDT.....maybe. The concern I would have is that our interior OL is already a bit weak, so removing the best player there would make it a huge issue. But definitely not Sorensen. Core ST piece, hugely versatile depth, key piece of that secondary, I think he's worth his cap hit next year, and that's the last year he has on the books. Cap relief isn't needed that badly there, IMO. I'd throw someone like Breeland Speaks on there. Less cap relief, but far less useful.
