The one thing I’ll give him in this matchup is I think he really will just relentlessly go forward. So many fighters just play in Khabibs hands move backwards up against the cage. Just wonder if Whitaker can adjust some things and really compete with Izzy. I thought it was dominant. Cannonier got off a good shot at the end, but Rob is the definition of championship tested. Dude has such a good fight IQ and never panics. But Izzy is just a god awful matchup for him. If Izzy didn’t have some an incredible reach advantage I think it;’d be a much closer matchup, but he just pieces up everyone so easily from the outside, cuts out of danger and is ridiculously accurate.
