Just says he didn’t really believe the Titans had an interest in Clowney as he hadn’t heard of anything. Now he has a source who says it’s real but still no guarantee. That $15M would seem to be pretty doable with reworking one contract like Lewan’s.

Just bring me Clowney already. That front 7... my lord. Most talent and depth we’ve had there in some time. Obviously need to add another DL or two and a couple CBs but that defense could very well be a top 5 defense come next season.

So PFF now has a mock simulator...and it has a trade feature, so that's pretty cool.

https://www.pff.com/draft/nfl-mock-draft-simulator

I don't know how to post my results but this is what I got..

2-61, Austin Jackson, OT, 69.8

3-93, Rakweon Davis, IDL, 66.2

4-120, Antonio Gadney-Golden, WR, 64.2

5-156, Jonathan Garvin, ED, 64.4

7-224, Eno Benjamin, RB, 58.5

7-243, Colby Parkinson, TE, 63. 6

Trades

Traded 1-29 for 1-31, 5-156 - 65.4

46: EDGE Julian Okwara, ND 85.4

61: TEN trades 61 for CIN 65, 107. Graded 70.3, TEN wins trade 59%

87: DL Raekwon Davis, Alabama 65.8

93: CB Amik Robertson, La Tech 66.8

95: TEN trades 95, 224 for SEA 101, 133, 144. Graded 73.0, TEN wins trade 62%

243: G Zach Shackelford, Texas 57.5

Overall Grade: 82.7

I don't know prospects as well as many of you in here, this was just a fun exercise for me. I traded down for more picks when I could, as we could use depth most places. I think I hit most places, even if some may just end up as camp bodies. I would be pretty happy with this draft if it actually went down like this.

when I first looked at this, I thought no way they'd bring in this many rookies. then I studied it and dude, I would be stoked if this happened. not a lot of star power but definitely a lot of needs addressed. this would make up for only coming away with 3 guys from the 2018 draft lol.. lots of depth and potential starters..

You're right about the lack of star power, but starting at 29 there isn't much star power available to begin with. I felt like overall depth and double dipping at the spots we have the biggest needs at would be the best approach. And some of that was just where the value was at a pick.

I wanted a corner at 61 but the value just wasn't there at my picks til I took Robertson. Luckily, we have a good enough roster right now that I feel we can go BPA or trade back for more picks in reality.
