lol. If he’s healthy he has every right to be pissed off. Heck, there’s rumors in Minnesota that he’s already pissed off about being put on the pup.

If he's healthy, Of course he wants to play. Every player wants to rush back from an injury, More than likely he's not healthy and that's why he's on the PUP.

Teddy had the most devastating injury a player can rehab from knee wise, I really doubt he's healthy and is pissed off at the vikings for trying to make sure he's 100% before they give him a second shot.

A player cannot stay on the PUP past 6 weeks to my knowledge. Once the 6 weeks is up the team has 3 weeks, I think, to make a decision on said player. Active 53, Injured Reserve, or released.

This isn't quite correct:

What makes the Reserve PUP advantageous is that any player on the Reserve PUP list does not count against the 53-man roster. If a player isn't activated after the sixth week, the team has a six-week window (day after Week 6 to day after Week 11) to make a decision to: 1.) place the player on injured reserve; 2.) release the player; or 3.) get him back to practice. As soon as the player returns to practice, the team has another three-week window to add the player back to the 53-man roster, or place them on the Injured Reserve list.

But you're correct enough.

He's not gonna play this season. They'll leave him on the PUP and let his contract toll to 2018.

Not necessarily.  Teddy Bridgewater's contract will already roll over to 2018.  The PUP list requires players to stay on the list for the first 6 WEEKS of the season.  The CBA language states that a players contract will toll to the next year if the player is in the last year of their contract and the miss the first 6 GAMES of the season.  Since the Vikings do not have a bye week during the first 6 weeks of the season then Bridgewater will automatically miss the first 6 games of the season allowing this final year of his contract to carry over to 2018.

Since Bridgewater started the season on the PUP his contract is already going to toll over to 2018 even if he comes back and starts as early as week 7.

Of course the NFL has a stupid rule for that.....Props to the vikings for screwing Teddy out of his 5th year option money though.

Had he stayed healthy the Vikings would have opened the check book for him. He would have been our QB for another decade.

Lol yeah I refuse to go there. People getting heated over things so arbitrary that can't ever really be truly determined until it is blatantly obvious. Then what's the point?

I still trying to resist in doing this. It is funny that our voice and tones rise to such a level when we are talking about mostly small or minute differences
