JonStark Posted February 19, 2020 Share Posted February 19, 2020 I'd be curious to see if instead of just comparing QBs, you compared the highest paid player on the team (regardless of position). If you pay a LT or a WR an insane amount of money, that's still less money you can spend on the rest of your team. It just so happens that QB contracts are often a lot larger, but I wonder what the comparison of winning percentage would be if you added teams with an average QB contract along with one or two large ones from other positions. And it never fails you have a bunch of a dudes saying how horrible the deal is and how the team should just tank the team for a new QB in the draft instead of paying their guy.
