No knock on Kyle who is great at what he does, this was a typical placement pre Senior Bowl. https://thedraftnetwork.com/articles/kyle-crabbs--2020-nfl-draft-big-boardposition-rankings The following receivers are listed above him (I personally would have him ranked at around 5):- Jerry Jeudy CeeDee Lamb Henry Ruggs Laviska Shenault Tee Higgins Jalen Reagor Justin Jefferson KJ Hamler Donovan Peoples-Jones Brandon Aiyuk Tyler Johnson Quartney Davis Devin Duvarney Collin Johnson KH Hill Gabriel Davis I would put him at 12 myself but I don't think your assessment is crazy by any means. I feel the top 4 are pretty interchangeable (I'm not as high on Shenault though). I really think Michigan's offense held back DPJ also. Mims is certainly a great prospect and in a normal draft, I feel he's an easy first round pick

I don't think the ceiling is high, but he's so refined and skilled that the floor is. Tyler Johnson or Van?
Fureys49ers
Just went back and watched some Van Jefferson film after all the attention he’s gotten this week and I get Cooper Kupp vibes from him a lot. Just a professional WR with just enough athleticism to succeed and a great feel for the position. Similar age coming out of college as well as size. He's not Kupp. He doesn't have the physicality to his game that Kupp does. I still say he has a lot in common with Tajae Sharpe or Brian Hartline. In the right system, he can be a productive guy like Hartline was. But he's not the talent that Kupp is. Van would be scary if he had Kupp's play strength and physicality, but he just doesn't.

BobbyPhil1781
I need to look at this Van Jefferson kid some more. Having a 💩 QB situation won't make you look better but he's obviously opening eyes.

Fureys49ers
Are we sure about this Montez character being an actual NFL prospect? Antonio Gibson is also a very intriguing weapon on offense. Edited January 25, 2020 by Fureys49ers

Think he make a roster at either spot.

MD4L
Jalen Hurts is going to be next quarterback whether due to scheme, luck, or playing with an elite defense that has a successful stretch of games in his NFL career.
