Why would they be so desperate if they believe in Carr is the real question.

Marino never won an SB. Apparently, you don't understand 20 years worth of winning experience can bring to an organization that's been perennial losers for 2 decades. Practice habits, preparation, game management and how to become winners. Brady is a winner. Draft a QB to sit behind him

He is one of the best QBs of all time, but never won a superbowl because it is a team game and takes more than just player. Do i think that the Raiders can learn from Tom Bradys practice habits, preperations and game management, yea. Do I think bringing in a 43 year old QB whos best football is behind him, is going to change this franchise from perennial losers to champions, no. Like Marino, even Brady needs a team around him. He carried the Pats to the playoffs, but the team was void of talent this year and there is only so much Brady can do. The Raiders are not a QB away from a superbowl run IMO. Continue to build this team through the draft / FA with young players. Mayocks approach in the draft to bring in players from championship winning programs will change the culture, our rookie class only knows winning football. That is how you change from constantly being bottom feeders IMO

The rub Brady can give to the players we draft can last a long time. That's it, I've had enough with this forum today. From @OG_C2X saying that Carr will have more Super Bowls than Mahomes. To @BackinBlack saying that Brady won't help change the losing culture here. @bucksavage1 out for the day

But he wont change us to champions. If you think Brady makes us superbowl contenders, that is ok, but I want to know why? New England had way better D than us, we have better weapons and oline, but I do think NE was more well rounded then us. unfortunately, you like to argue by quoting me on things i never said. lol. Tom Brady isn’t the only veteran who’s won Super Bowl’s that’s going to be a free agent. Spending 30 million on a guy to bring a “winning culture” is too much. Even if he was a upgrade which is debatable, it won’t be much of an upgrade. Besides don’t the Raiders already have a guy who’s supposed to install a winning mentality in Gruden? Isn’t he the $100 million dollar man who had a Super Bowl ring? i have no doubt the Raiders kick the tires but i don’t think they’ll be real contenders. I have my doubts also. Raider fans in my group say bring on Brady. I can just see him getting injured and sitting out part of the season. Lot of money for an old guy. Probably for two years at that. Guaranteed money for one year. Do I think Brady is trying to drive up his price to NE? I do. Depressing time for Raider Nation after the KC win on the verge of our new era in Vegas. For awhile it was Brady and Manning then everybody else.

BayRaider
Lol Kirwan/Miller/Gil Brandt on Sirius called Carr passive aggressive over Brady news. Three of the nicest guys ever. Edited February 4, 2020 by BayRaider
BayRaider
New updated betting odds: Staying with Pats is 1 to 1, rest looks like this: Raiders: 3/1Chargers: 4/1Buccaneers: 7/1Panthers: 9/1Colts: 9/1Cowboys: 9/1 Raiders got a huge bump.

Even money to stay with Pats is interesting. Which means it is far from certain he stays.
