Clark won't change the cap much for 2020. Might do it later after a few rounds of FA and we see what cap is left. Bakhtiari would add about $4M for 2020, but add a bunch to 2021. I will have do double check on how many we can do of extension and restructure. Extending Adams 2020 savings $6M 2021 savings $3.3M Both are helpful for this mock setup. Veldheer is half a second faster at the 40, he has started over 100 games. Veldheer also has better lateral speed which is needed for the way the Packers block now. Under McCarthy they covered Bulaga's weakness up by lining him up unusually wide. Team's eventually learned this and shot the gap, which was a part of McCarthy's offensive down fall. Veldheer didn't allow any sacks, qb hits, and no penalties when he played. Bulaga would be better in a different blocking system, Veldheer is better in the blocking system that the Packers have now. Rodgers did not comment on wanting Bulaga next year, however he did say that he wanted Veldheer back.
