We still have a game to play, but there is an off week and it's also Senior Bowl week, so let's talk draft. We have five picks, with none in the last two rounds. How should we use them.

My thoughts for the first pick.

Trade down, out of the 1st round.
CB - our CB are not a problem area, but only two are under contract and this is a good draft for secondary
OL - C is no longer a problem with Reiter's improved play, but Schwartz and Fisher are 31 and 29, LDT is developing an injury reputation and LG is far from settled.
BPA - There is not such thing as too much depth.

If we trade down, two additional positions for the mid second round-
TE - Kelce is also 30 and this is a solid TE draft
LB - Like Reiter, some early season problems have been fixed, but this group could use some fresh blood.
RB - This is a great RB draft. it would be a shame to miss out entirely.

LB , RB , OL , CB , WR , TE for me.

Really hoping we can pick up 2-3 more picks.  It’s really a deep class all the way around,  going to be some good players left in the 4th and 5th Rounds

This for me. LB isn’t a great class so I wouldn’t hate skipping it this year unless someone falls.

Must take in this draft is RB and OL imo

I feel like QB2 is also a need that hasn't been mentioned here. Maybe not though if Reid can keep getting random vets to back up Mahomes.

Marcus Mariota is going to be the QB2 next year, book it. Reid gunna try and use him like Taysom Hill as well.

If Hunt is to be believed, and we dont give Mahomes his extension this offseason (I highly doubt it), how will it affect our offseason? Do we give Jones a mega front-loaded extension? Do we chase one year FAs? Do we restructure some of our own (cant see any obvious candidates)? Or roll over the cap (pointless, from what I observe)?
