MaximusGluteus
Love the Evan Weaver pick. Round 4 would be a great spot to land him if he lasts that long. I'm guessing Patrick Queen won't make it past the 2nd round (possibly the 1st) and KJ Hill won't make it out of the 3rd, if he even falls that far since he's spent the past week tearing up defensive backs in the Senior Bowl practices. DWhitehurst
Since we have two "pass rush specialists" (= weak on the run) with the Smiths, and presuming Fackrell isn't re-signed, then if Gute were to go with a OLB/Edge at some point in the draft, then I'd think he'd want a stout one which can stack/set the edge (strong on the run), something which Gary seems better at than pass rush. That way you have four guys, two whose strength is pass rush and two whose strength is run defense. This gives Pettine more versatility in packages, matchups depending on down and distance. Fox_NFLs_GG
Packers should try to make a play for Cory Littleton.

pacman5252
Not a fan of this. -I don’t think the FA signings are realistic (if it happened sure). -I would rather keep a 5th year option than get a 5th round pick -Another year of blowing off the offense ? Jones was a good 10-15 lb.s lighter and it showed. Lynch has no explosion to me, he's a hands fighter. That's not going to win on the edge in the NFL. Does he have the sand in his pants to play 3-5 tech and stop the run on early downs? Not sure of that either. Don't think he has an NFL position. Ross Blacklock and Neville Gallimore are much better DL prospects for that area of the draft. I'm not worried about versatility, I just want someone who'll line up next to Clark and do it well. beardown3231
There is no rumor about the Bears and Fromm. There's also no way Queen is there in the mid-2nd yet alone late 6th. Hill will go much higher than the 5th, too. Same with Trautman. I like this otherwise for the Packers, though. jleisher
Well done! Weaver is a favorite of mine as well. Lynch could be used more on DL, with Weaver, he can play inside or Edge. Thanks for the mock.

Not saying it's true at this very moment. Just saying it could happen.

He's really only got one year of production at LSU, and he's on the lighter side for LB (listed at 227). He's not going to fit into everyone's schemes. Deion Jones and Roquan Smith were both listed under 230 before they were drafted. Queen can absolutely fly and is super athletic. I'd bet he'll go top 32, but either way, late 6th is far too late. He’s on a team that’s built around offensive firepower. Things change for him when he doesn’t have Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley to cover. He won’t be worth the contract he signs, and age doesn’t have much to do with it. He will be the premier TE free agent. If you don’t believe me, Jimmy Graham had 1.3 yards more per reception this year. Jimmy Graham’s longest reception was 11 yards longer than Hooper’s. Granted Hooper had 37 more receptions, but Hooper is not some Kelce light. He’s more like Richard Rodgers heavy. Price tag is a big factor for me too with TEs. I wouldn't mind a mid tier guy like we got with Cook years ago. But not another Graham contract
FinneasGage
like a lot of the picks you made. trautman's a good one. hightower, jacob phillips, weaver all should be good players. i think patrick queen's probably gonna be a top 40 pick, but the rest is real nice. still gotta watch hill, but i've seen on twitter he's blowing up at the senior bowl. i personally don't like lynch that high, but appreciate that you actually put effort into this mock. most mocks lately are just lazily thrown up, so this is nice.
