I think Kelce's odds are better than some are suggesting. TE isn't a position that typically shows a super sharp fall off in terms of athletic ability. Kelce really only needs three seasons at his career average pace to get to top 5 in NFL history in receiving yards for TEs.

This... Outside of serious / career ending injury he's going to walk into the HOF.

Someone brought up Revis and he is an interesting case.

He was a very good rookie.

He was the best corner on the planet for 4 years in NY before he got hurt.

He returned to that level on the Patriots and then back on the Jets for another year.  (Revis in Tampa was a bit like Moss in Oakland)

That's 6 solid seasons of being the best player at his position along with 7 playoff wins and a Super Bowl.

4 of those wins were HEAVY defense with Sanchez at QB.

On the downside, he was a shell of himself at age 31 and done by age 32.

If his job was harder as a true man to man shutdown then take points away for him not being able to transition to a cover 3 or zone guy when he lost a step.

This guy was 36 during this play and still getting it done.

HoF, absolutely.

First ballot?  I am not sure.

Mahomes, Sherman are the obvious two.

I am also going to say Kelce/Kittle.

Kelce I think has a chance, especially with a SB win if he continues to play as well as he has to this point of his career. Kittle has shown amazing skill so far, itll take a long career of that level of skill to achieve it but I think its fair to argue he is beginning the building of a potential career at that level.
