Blahstoise
It's more the lack of being actually able to run the ball, Johnson and Brooks are supposed to be maulers aren't they?
Danger
And what runningbacks do we have at all? Sproles, who's 34, small and retiring at the end of this season. Blount has yet to get anything going. Everyone else is worthless.

I do not believe he had one designed run called all game.

SwedeCane
Reporter: - Why did you abandon the run when Sproles avg was nearly 5 yards a run? Doug: - What? You're allowed to run? I thought this was a passing league.

WeaponX
Was just about to come post this. The run to pass ratio was 17 to 46. Let that sink in for a second. 17 rush attempts. 46 pass attempts.

AZ_Eaglesfan
Honestly have no clue how we just abandon the run so hard. I don't care if it isn't working, it opens up the offense, it is literally basic football. Doug needs to get this playcalling stuff turned around fast if this team wants to make a run at the playoffs.

Actually it was even worse than that. 56 pass plays (46 pass attempts, 6 sacks and 4 rushes) 13 run plays (10 Sproles, 3 Smallwood)
WeaponX
That is awful. 13 to 56 is awful.
SwedeCane
That's Mike Leach territory. His Washington State had 59 pass plays and 13 run plays this Saturday.
