Doug Pederson running the ball less than Andy Reid is a serious problem...

When you learn from an idiot, you're bound to become an idiot. Difference being Andy is finally learning after 20 yrs. Pederson is just getting started!!

Inexcusable to be in a close game for 3 QT and continue to pass while the OL can't block anyone. Luckily for us Wentz survived.

Andy Reid is one of the leagues best coaches.......just needed a change from Philly.

I see people blaming the oline for some of our struggles, but it has to be hard when the defense knows it can just pin its ears back and rush.

Abandoning the run unravels the entire offense. The defense isn't supposed to know what the offense is doing. That's the advantage every offense is supposed to have.

There were times Seumalo got beat 1 on 1 though, abandoning the run didn't help but he was also just getting outclassed.

"In order to win games in this league you have to be able to run the ball unless you've got Tom Brady, guys like that," said right tackle Lane Johnson. "We have to run the ball. We have to take the pressure off of Carson, we've got to protect Carson better. We didn't do a good job today."

"You can't be throwing the ball 40 times in a game," said tight end Zach Ertz. "That's not ideal. Low 30s is probably where you want him at. Thirty runs, 30 passes if you're getting 60 plays. We want to be a balanced offense."

Pederson said Hunt was “definitely someone that we had our eye on." The same could be said for Minnesota’s Dalvin Cook, among others. But they came out of the draft with fourth-round pick Donnel Pumphrey. He was firmly on the roster bubble at cut-down time and was inactive for the opener, and is now on injured reserve with a torn hamstring.

I didn't realize it was supposed to be a surprise that the Eagles run game blows...

For long term, I'd still rather have Barnett and Sidney Jones than Cooks or Hunt.

Don't think anyone is surprised that it sucks. But maybe a little surprised we didn't give more carries to a guy averaging nearly 5 yards a carry and otherwise looked decent.
