Considering how COTY has been awarded for decades, Kyle Shanahan should of been the clear winner here leading a 4-12 team to 13-3. However, can’t say Harbaugh didn’t have a hell of a year and be too mad over it. Both guys were deserving.

Coty is not about having best team of the year it's about the accomplishments of said coach. And Ravens having the best team this year is debatable. Shanahan brought his team from picking No2 in the draft to being 1st seed in the NFC all in one season.

Hmm Ravens had HFA in that game last I checked and Niners are in the SB.

They missed the playoffs 3 years straight and everybody wanted him out of Baltimore. Harbaugh's job was definitely on the line.

Garoppolo tore his ACL last year and they had no choice but to fall to 4-12 with a practice squad QB. That wasn't Shanahan. And, Baltimore was undoubtedly the best team in the NFL this year. Not even close. You're living in a fantasy land if you think otherwise.

He wasnt doing his job, his players bailed him out and this year they brought in a new OC. Give it time people will come to realize this success had very little to do with him. He is an average coach.

Post season results are always sketchy to gauge an entire season's performance off of. That's cherry picking. The Titans sent the Ravens packing and the Ravens never even gave them a challenge in that game. Greg Roman is the catalyst of this teams success. That is what changed between 2018 and 2019. Harbaugh isnt the guy running the offense.

Garoppolo is not Peyton Manning, nor is he Tom Brady or the lynchpin of that offense. It's even debatable whether or not hes just a game manager. In no way should anyone ever assume Garoppolo is the difference between a team picking near first in the NFL draft to playing in the SB just because of his presence. That is a asinine acid type idea with a meth head logic putting that together. Not even Tom Brady is that kind of difference maker.
