NeptunePenguins
I hear a lot of talk about Aaron Rodgers being the most talent and greatest statistical QB ever and for Manning the same other than the talent. Yet Marini had better stats than both. He put up 48 TDs in 1984 and 5000 yards. If he would to play today he would put up over 60 TDs and 6000 yards pretty easily I think as he was like Peyton Manning but with an actual arm rather than beliw average arm strength(2013 Manning had below average arm strength.) He would outdo any QB today I think.
Soko
Marino was ahead of his time. Underrated too. But at the same time, I’m not going to grant him things that can’t/haven’t happened. I don’t know what he’d do in the modern NFL, no one does.
Matts4313
Arm talent: Marino Head talent: Manning Athletic Talent: Rodgers I feel like Marino would absolutely destroy it in the league now. This is a tough one. Good question. Im going with the order I listed them in.
DirtyDez
Rodgers first 8-9 years as a starter is unmatched by anyone from an ability standpoint.

I don't think he would do any better, I think he would actually do worst to behonest. Teams are becoming more adapt to stopping pass happy offenses. SteelKing728
1. Marino 2. Rodgers 3. Manning
Tetsujin
I'm a little biased, but I thought Marino had the most arm talent out of any QB I've ever watched. Until Mahomes came along.

tom cody
I'd rank them as: 1. Manning 2. Marino 3. Rodgers All 3 are among the top 10 QBs in NFL history though.

LieutenantGains
2004 Peyton was a million times more scary than 2013 Peyton. Hell 2004-2009 Manning in general was.

Manning, like Montana (or even Steve Young or Roger Staubach) had an "enough" arm - was he going to wow you with how the ball jumped out of his hand? No, but it was certainly strong enough to get the ball anywhere it needed to go.

I don't think some people realize the combination of unlikely things that have to happen perfectly to throw for that many stats.
