Tayne mortgages the future away again to fix the line and destroy with the run to open up the PA--2021 1st/3rd/4th after going light in FA (no one will want to come here until next year). It could happen 🤷‍♂️:

Cleveland Browns Cleveland Browns
Pick Player Pos College
1:10 Tristan Wirfs RG Iowa
1:18 Jedrick Wills Jr. LT Alabama
3:10 Netane Muti RT Fresno St.
3:19 Michael Pittman Jr. WR Southern California
4:9 Kylin Hill RB Mississippi St.
4:12 Antoine Brooks Jr. SS Maryland
4:27 Shyheim Carter S/CB Alabama
4:28 Harrison Bryant TE Florida Atlantic
6:2 Quincy Roche EDGE Temple
6:8 Ross Blacklock DL Texas Christian
6:9 Michael Divinity LB LSU
6:22 Trajan Bandy CB Miami (FL)

Roche won’t be in the draft. He is doing the grad transfer thing. I like the line though. And in acceptable fashion, you drafted a token Miami player.

" And then a statue was erected to GM Andrew Berry..."

Wirfs, Wills, Muti, Pittman, Brooks, Bryant, Roche, Blacklock, and Bandy in one draft ..  the dream of dreams ...

"... and then the Good sirs Berry and DePodest ushered in a time of winning and peace that lasted over 50 years up until this day... the End."    -- Future human parent recalling their parents comforting stories of sports bliss in the past during a simpler time

"..... awww... nooo.. pleaseeeee one more???? What about the time Berry and Schwartz turned the Browns around by telling the Haslam's to go F-himself... or tell the story of when King Baker Mayfield realized he did need help and hired a QB trainer " -- Browns child of the future

Future human parent: " ... Okay one more story.. and then it's bedtime... tomorrow we have to forage cockroaches and hostess snacks on the surface before the scorched sun storm or radiation winds hit by mid-day..."

".... it was a warm, sunny day... Marcus Mariota stepped in ... they doubted him, but little did they know ... they were watching the Ascension of the chosen one... the one to bring new hope and a championship to the city... and then ... (soothing voice trails off into the distance...) "

Here's a mock with the theme of recommitting vows to Nick Chubb. We trade our future 1st and 3rd to go up for the next Jared Allen/Justin Smith:

Cleveland Browns Cleveland Browns
Pick Player Pos College
1:10 Jedrick Wills Jr. LT Alabama
1:21 A.J. Epenesa EDGE Iowa
2:21 Solomon Kindley G Georgia
3:21 Isaiah Wilson RT Georgia
4:7 Michael Pittman Jr. WR Southern California
4:9 Antoine Brooks Jr. SS Maryland
5:2 Harrison Bryant TE Florida Atlantic
5:20 Jeff Thomas WR Miami (FL)
7:2 Carlos Davis NT Nebraska
7:15 Brady White QB Memphis
7:22 Jace Whittaker CB Arizona

We are totally discounting Free Agency and trades. I'm not sure whoever the GM is wants to start 3 rookie OL going into next season

Wills and Kindley are pro-ready, and Wilson would likely start by the end of the year. The draft simulator doesn't have free agency so that is more for people's mock drafts they come up with on their own. This is drafting against other teams.

Isn't the draft in 2021 in Cleveland? If it is I just don't see us trading our 2021 1st round pick. Browns will want their fans fired up.

Damn man.

@LETSGOBROWNIES that means get ready for 10,000 trade downs this year. Ol’ Haslam needs to put on a show in 2021. He’s going to make Sashi look like a peasant.

Dag. That's a good point. Better do a trade-down mock.

After breaking the bank on Jayron Kearse, safety, ahead of a weak safety draft class, as well as some bargain depth at offensive line and linebacker, the brainiacs play the rest of free agency light.

Analytics nerds group their top needs into tiers and do millions of simulations to figure out the ideal trade-down and trade-up spots. After Thomas and Wirfs go top-10, the first tower of offensive linemen is complete and a trade down is executed. Bekton goes as well as Biadasz.

The Browns trade back up to snag Wills before his likely departure in the next 1-5 picks. They trade back up to get the fifth year option and last tier-1 LB in Kenneth Murray. Michael Divinity was looking promising and a team leader on a very talented LSU team before stepping away. He is a late round swing for the fences.

We put some strength and size on the offensive line by trading around to grab value at each tier, Isaiah Wilson and Netayne Muti providing excellent value.

Chase Claypool is underrated and will end up being a bargain and red zone that we need.

Cleveland Browns Cleveland Browns
Pick Player Pos College
1:20 Jedrick Wills Jr. LT Alabama
1:32 Kenneth Murray LB Oklahoma
2:31 Isaiah Wilson RT Georgia
3:9 Netane Muti RG Fresno St.
4:9 J.R. Reed SS Georgia
4:26 Jordan Elliot DL Missouri
4:32 Chase Claypool WR Notre Dame
5:15 Colby Parkinson TE Stanford
5:19 Benito Jones NT Mississippi
5:31 Ke'Shawn Vaughn RB Vanderbilt
6:15 Michael Divinity LB LSU
6:27 Jaylinn Hawkins FS California
7:9 Kenny Yeboah TE Temple
