We’d be trying trying to make stuff up for him to do that would take away from what we should be doing. Hes a jet sweep/bubble screen type of guy.

He'd get like 15 snaps a game and maybe 3-4 touches, Each snap he 100% needs to be accounted for and is a threat to house it. Thats worth a late 3, especially with this roster and nobody else with that skillset.

I'd be got damn ecstatic. Heard Burns is up to 245-ish now. If he somehow slips that far down, I'd def be making my favorite GIF a reality. (J.I.P.)

Def think TE is in play this year. This class is just too damn special not to take a flyer on any of the Baker's dozen of potential All Pros.

Happiness is a dish best served on Draft weekend.

This is a 7 rounder posted by dawgpound daily that I could really get behind. I'm not sure some of the picks last as long as these but I'd be pretty happy with this draft.

Cleveland Browns: 7-Round Mock Draft following Week 17DAWG POUND DAILY6h By Randy Gurzi The Cleveland Browns made some huge strides this season under GM John Dorsey. Here we try to continue that work with this 2019 7-round mock Draft. No team changed their fortunes in the 2018 NFL Draft quite like the Cleveland Browns did. They got their quarterback of the future in Baker Mayfield at No. 1 overall and then they followed that up with a starting cornerback at No. 4 in Denzel Ward. The Browns continued to hit in the second round as they landed running back Nick Chubb from Georgia, who temporarily crossed the 1,000-yard mark before running for a loss of yardage that left him with 996 on his rookie season. They also were thrilled with the work from linebacker Genard Avery, their fifth-round pick out of Memphis. He was a rotational piece that ended the season with 39 tackles and 4.5 sacks. Before Avery was picked, they also went with a risky selection of Antonio Callaway, the receiver who was suspended for all of 2017 with Florida. Callaway finished with 586 yards and five touchdowns on the season and could be even better the more experience he gets. While there was a lot of deserved praise for those five selections, Cleveland did have other picks that have yet to return much on the investment. No. 33 overall selection Austin Corbett hardly saw the field and third-round pick Chad Thomas ended up with less than 25 snaps all season. Here we try and predict where general manager and John Dorsey might go in the 2019 NFL Draft as he looks for more home runs like Mayfield, Chubb, and Ward. With that being said, let’s dive in with this 7-round 2019 NFL Mock Draft

Round 1: Devin White, LB, LSU One thing that was painfully obvious during the 2018 season was the lack of speed and playmaking in the middle of the field. The Browns have good linebackers in Joe Schobert, Christian Kirksey, and Jamie Collins. But none of those three are game changers — and Collins is paid like one, which could lead to his ouster in the offseason. Week in and week out, the Cleveland defense had a hard time sticking with tight ends over the middle of the field. Here they try and make a selection that can help in that area by taking LSU linebacker Devin White. He’s a game changer who can cover sideline to sideline and will even help in the run game. In three seasons with the Tigers, White twice hit more than 100 tackles and finished with 278 in his career. He added 8.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, and an interception. He has a knack for being around the ball and can make game-altering plays which is something this defense can use. Other mocks could have the Browns going wide receiver or defensive tackle, but Baker Mayfield did well enough with the crew he had to allow them to wait on the receiver position. As for D-tackle, there are a couple of big names that could be worth drafting here, but this class is loaded with talent at that position so they can wait and still find a potential starter.

Round 2: Isaiah Prince, OT, Ohio State The Browns are likely going to bring Greg Robinson back, and he played well at left tackle for them. They also will retain Chris Hubbard who started all season at right tackle. Behind them is Desmond Harrison, who began the season as the starting left tackle but had his share of issues which is unsurprising considering he was an undrafted free agent. There’s going to be some hope that Harrison can develop into a starter in the offseason — whether that’s at left tackle or maybe pushing Hubbard at right. And Robinson would be better served as a swing tackle, but if he had to start, they could do worse.  With all that being said, the Browns would be wise to throw more talent into the mix and let them all compete for the starting jobs. That’s where Isaiah Prince from Ohio State comes in. He’s an athletic presence on the line that can be a huge benefit in the run game. In order to become a legitimate starter in the NFL though, Prince will need to work hard and getting his hands right. He has the potential to be a long-term starter, and just needs a team that’s willing to work with him and push him to be better.

Round 3: Riley Ridley, WR, Georgia While the wide receiver position could use some help for the Browns, they wait until the third round to address it. That’s because they did fine with the players they already have and they felt like they could address more pressing needs in Round 1 and 2. Now, they do address the position and they do well for themselves by selecting Riley Ridley out of Georgia. The younger brother of 2018 first-round pick Calvin Ridley, Riley started to come into his own for the Bulldogs this season. He recorded 38 receptions for 498 yards and nine touchdowns. He has the size, speed, and route running ability to develop into a No. 1 target and is only getting better. Cleveland could end up with a pretty big star here.

Round 3, Pick 2 (via New England): Gerald Willis, DT, Miami Again the Browns add to a position of need by grabbing themselves a solid defensive tackle in Gerald Willis, III out of Miami. As was mentioned earlier, this draft class has a lot of talent on the defensive line, which leads to some decent players still being around much later than they should be. MORE: Start your 2019 by watching every Baker Mayfield TD pass Willis is a perfect example of that as he would likely be taken earlier than this in many other drafts. The younger brother of New York Giant’s safety Landon Collins, Willis started his career at Florida before transferring to Miami. He broke out as a redshirt senior recording 59 tackles with 18 going for a loss. He added four sacks and swatted down two passes. He doesn’t come in as someone who can start right away, but he has the potential to get involved in the lineup early, with the potential to one day stand next to Larry Ogunjobi on the starting line.

Round 4: Blace Brown, CB, Troy Denzel Ward and Terrance Mitchell are good starters for the Browns and they have some depth with T.J. Carrie. However, they could use more depth and someone to push Carrie — and maybe Mitchell for snaps. It’s not a dire need, but they do have to get some youth in at the cornerback spot. Here they land another potential steal as they ****** up Blace Brown out of Troy. Brown played in the Sun Belt Conference so he doesn’t get the respect he deserves, but he’s a baller. Listed at 6-foot and 185-pounds, he has the length to match up with any corner. He’s also a ball hawk, evidenced by his 12 picks in the past three seasons.

Round 5 (via Jacksonville): Daniel Wise, DT, Kansas The Browns sent Carlos Hyde to Jacksonville so that it would force the original coaching staff to use Nick Chubb. That helped their offense tremendously and it now helps their defense as they use the pick gained on Daniel Wise from Kansas. Like Gerald Willis earlier, Wise falls because of the talent in this draft. For the Browns, adding two defensive tackles with youth and upside could go a long ways towards improving their defense in 2019.

Round 5, Pick 2: Jalen Jelks, EDGE, Oregon With their own pick in the fifth-round, the Browns again add some talent to the defensive line. They didn’t get what they expected out of Chad Thomas, but his story isn’t completely written yet. He does find himself competing for snaps now though as Jalen Jelks comes in with some decent tape on film. Jelks will have to add some bulk to be able to log major snaps at the next level, but he can serve as a rotational edge rusher until he’s able to do that.

Round 5, Pick 3 (via New England): Khalil Hodge, LB, Buffalo And a third pick in the fifth-round is coming for the Browns courtesy of the Josh Gordon trade. With that pick, they add another linebacker, and as they did in 2018, they hope to find a gem from a smaller school. Last year, it was Genard Avery out of Memphis. This season, it’s Khalil Hodge from Buffalo. Hodge recorded 235 tackles in three seasons while his lowest total was 123 as a sophomore in 2016. He added 5.5 sacks and three interceptions as well. Hodge could be a special teams ace with the potential to spell starting linebackers throughout the game.

Round 6: Dexter Williams, RB, Notre Dame Nick Chubb has the No. 1 running back position locked up and Duke Johnson is a great change of pace back — as well as a weapon as a receiver out of the backfield. They ended up using Dontrell Hilliard as a third back, but he too was more prevalent in the passing game but was also used as a kick returner. What they could use though is another guy capable of carrying the ball 15-20 times a game should something happen to Chubb. That’s what they hope to get here with Dexter Williams out of Notre Dame. He wasn’t the featured back in South Bend until his final season, but averaged 6.3 yards per attempt and had 995 yards for the Irish. He could be a decent option as the third back should he be able to leapfrog Hilliard.

Round 7 (via Pittsburgh): Kendall Baker, OT, Georgia With their final pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Browns again add some depth to their roster. This time they add another offensive lineman in Kendall Baker out of Georgia. Listed at 6-foot-5 and 305-pounds, Baker played tackle for the Bulldogs but could have a future at guard in the NFL.
