XFL Discussion

So, watching the first game and some initial thoughts:

  • I kind of dig the kickoff. I think largely because NFL Kickoffs have become so stale so this being new is at least intriguing.
  • I love the Extra Points options.
  • I love the Refs audio being completely available.
  • I enjoy instant-player interviews as they run off.

Will keep watching.

I am debating between supporting the Vipers (Tampa) or Renegades (Dallas)

The XFL’s new rules seem like some really good ones. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of them get folded into the NFL at some point, just like the floating camera did from the XFL’s original season.

I think he wanted to get back into coaching without getting too heavily invested. I believe he is still on OU pay role as an asst. to AD.
