Darkness
It's looking like a different season, same story for the Packers. Aaron Rodgers is about to turn 34 and is in his 13th season. At what point do the Packers try salvaging the remaining window of Rodgers career
Xmad
They've made the playoffs for like what, 8 straight years? They're not wasting his prime. They're not surrounding him with the proper amount of talent on defense and giving him a running game but ehhhh... Andrew Luck's prime though....That's the biggest waste of a QB's prime right now. Jakuvious
My first instinct was yes, but honestly, that Packers roster has been in better shape throughout his prime than what a lot of other quality QBs have gotten recently (Brees, Luck, Rivers), so it's kind of a stretch to say that, for me. And to be honest, his situation has been pretty good overall.
Jlowe22
He could stand to have more support, but let's not pretend it's near the level of guys like Brees and Rivers. Brees, for example, is currently in his fourth straight year of historically bad defense. And twice in six years has had a defense considered worst of all time. I'm sure him being arguably the most talented QB in NFL history has a little to do with that

August4th
IDK about wasted but it is surprising that GB hasn't made it back to the SB yet... I thought for sure we were witnessing the next Dynasty during that SB run
Forge
I'm not a huge fan of McCarthy as a head coach, but no, I don't think that his prime is being wasted. They've been a solid team making the playoffs almost the entirety of his career. That's about all you can ask for in this day and age. Almost every contending team every year has a hole or two in their team. Its hard to win a super bowl, that's all.
Gopackgonerd
Ahhh this brings back memories to last year in week 2 after the vikings game, good times good times.
vike daddy
they made it to the NFCCG last year, that's hardly wasting potential.

Packerraymond
Take the top 4 OTs, top 2 WRs, #1CB, #1 DL off any team and that team loses regardless who is at QB when you're playing a team as good as ATL, on their home turf opening as well. We'll be fine so long as none of those injuries were serious. Something about playing in ATL has led us to be massively injured the last 3 contests. incognito_man
Just now, Darkness said: Putting together a "semi competent" team around a rare talent like Rodgers is a waste of his legendary talent it's hard to stack success on a macro-level. The league is designed to prevent dynasties. Drafting at the end of every round for a decade is hard. No, it's not being wasted.
