Where they were clearly overmatched, losing 44-21

Against the best offense in the league that was on the verge of routing 3 of the best teams in the NFL over the last 5 years in one of the most dominating playoff runs we've ever seen until the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl. Aaron Rodgers isn't always going to be on the best team. He's typically been on a top 3 team in his conference most years.

Because of his own talent. When's the last time he's had a great rushing attack and defense to work with?

Atlanta was shredding the number 1 defense in points in the Super Bowl for most of the game. They beat the hell out of pretty good Seattle defense a weak before he beat the Packers. They were going to struggle regardless of if they had a top 5 defense or not. Let's be honest, it's not like Rodgers lit up the Atlanta defense in that game. Granted they were injured. That's not the Packers fault though. Tonight Rodgers didn't exactly light them up either and he had his whole team until people started getting hurt and he wasn't doing much better. Both his tackles got hurt, his number 1 and number 2 WR got hurt.

There's a lot of teams he could go to and be worse off. A lot.

Yup and if I recall correctly in the NFCCG the defense got 4 interceptions and a fumble recovery to help the offense out and they only scored like 16 points in the first half. So not blaming them for that

I don't know about wasting, but it definitely feels they're underachieving. For a QB as great as Aaron Rodgers you would think there would be more post season success. They don't even have the Peyton Manning excuse where they are just running into a dynasty. Granted even the great Brett Favre only went to 2 Super Bowls very early in his career. Not to knock John Elway, but there's a good half dozen (at least) QB that most people put over him that never went to nearly as many Super Bowls as him. They certainly aren't guaranteed just because a QB is supremely talented.

it's hard to stack success on a macro-level. The league is designed to prevent dynasties. Drafting at the end of every round for a decade is hard.

No, it's not being wasted.

BS. Good players get drafted in the late 1st/early 2nd all the time. GB has missed probably more than they should have in the draft lately. Them going Randall/Rollins 1/2 a couple years back seems like a bad one now.
