Daniel-done because of Mitch Gabriel-done because Mitch cannot hit him downfield Prince-probably done to support Mitch HHCD-not coming back because the money is needed to upgrade offensive talent. Daniel was always a temp QB2 brought here as a pseudo coach. Gabriel is gone because he’s just a guy. Prince is gonna he gone cuz he’s JAG set to make $9M. HHCD is gonna he gone because he forces us to put EJ in less useful spots. Blaming EEEEEEEVERYTHING on Mitch is a little absurd Windy.
AZBearsFan
Moore can fill the same role in your above 2 posts as Dalton. Both are below average starters. One just happens to cost about $12M more per season. EDIT: This would have flowed better had it not posted to the next page... 🤦♂️ Edited February 13, 2020 by AZBearsFan

If they do trade for him that'll be restructured.

Daniel sucks and is making too much as a backup so he should be gone regardless of Mitch. Gabriel is a one trick pony who's lost a step and who is also getting paid too much. Prince's play declined last year and he's also getting paid way too much. Lastly HHCD signed for dirt cheap last year for a chance at a SB otherwise we wouldn't have had a chance at signing him long term for what he would have commanded. Hin leaving is not going to derail the defense. Eddie Jackson will go back to his natural position and they'll find a suitable replacement at SS. There is going to be roster changes because Mitch needs way more help and support. They need a better backup because they may need to bench Mitch. Gabriel’s value is greatly diminished because Mitch struggles to throw the ball deep. I don’t think they want to cut Prince, but they need the money on offense. He hasn’t been a starter in years. Comparing him to Dalton is ludicrous. Dalton is the definition of average. Moore is a backup who was out of the league. WindyCity
Matt Moore has started 30 games in 13 years. Is a career 60% passer. Has thrown 49 TDS to 36 INTs in his career Hasn't started more than 3 games since 2011. He is a career backup QB and one 32 teams don’t have on their roster week 1 last season. He is not bridging you to the next QB. He has only started more than 10 games in a season Once and it was a decade ago. WindyCity
Andy Dalton on the other hand has started 133 games. 204 TDs 118 INTs 3 Pro Bowls 4 seasons with 25+ TDs 2 seasons with 4000 yards He is a starting NFL QB. If he has to start he will give you Average starting QB play. If he has to start 16 games, he has actually won games.

We’d need improvements on the OL and at TE and at WR even if Mitch was great. You don’t really think if we had Mahomes instead of Mitch we would be comfortable with Coward at RG or our TE room, do you? Prince’s level of play with his contract at his age would get him cut or at minimum asked to take a significant pay cut from nearly every NFL team if not all of them. Gabriel has never ever been more than a role player in the NFL, and our passing game didn’t experience any drop off when he was out of the lineup. In fact, Miller getting Gabriel’s starter reps was a big factor in him starting to take off. In the 7 games Gabriel missed plus the Giants game in which Gabriel got hurt for good Miller went 35/447/2, and that’s with Miller missing most of the week 17 game with his own injury. Mitch’s best stretch of the season mostly coincided with Gabriel being out of the lineup too. Gabriel’s absence was a very arguably a net positive for our passing game.

Moore cost you $3 million a season...Dalton costs you $13 million...that is the difference...you get Dalton you miss out on two or maybe even three others that help you overall. You are assuming that is what Dalton costs. If Mitch sucks again none of those other upgrades are going to matter.
WindyCity
We need a QB that can start in 2021, unless we want to force a draft pick and make a rookie play too early. Matt Moore is not a viable 16 game starter in 2021. So what is the plan?
WindyCity
If Matt Moore is the backup plan. The Bears need to draft and develop a legitimate player in 2020 that can be reasonably expected to start.

Moore is an all in on Trubisky move. That is an incredible risk.
