Trentwannabe
Win-Win for both really. He likely saw the writing on the wall if he didn't agree and the Bills keep a veteran around at a much more reasonable price.
soflbillsfan
ehh not a fan. Glad they arent getting a bigger cap hit but preferred to have moved on from him. I guess he is one to be cut next offseason as the cap hit is 10.85 mil and they would save 5.65 by releasing him
BillsGuy82
I'm ok with it I guess. Insurance for Harrison Phillips for one more season.
Trentwannabe
With Phillips probably moving and not knowing how Harrison will come back after a leg injury I am happy with this. I wouldn't be surprised to see us address DL pretty early in April. Could argue it's our 3rd biggest need after WR and DE.
Yibbyl
Fiscally wise move...otherwise, whatever.

And we are getting our backup NT. And Luiget played well when giving a shot. We had 5 good DTs on the roster. As long as Luiget or Phillips we should be fine. Id prefer Jordan.... but Corey could easily slide over to UT and backup Oliver with Star and Harrison manning the NT.

Harrison Phillips has shown promise but most likely is just a depth player. Star and Luiget are guys I would lose zero sleep over if they were cut or free agents. Buffalo Fan
if I'm reading it right the contract now is a proof it deal as he could easily be cut next season. As an organization usually players play their best when up against the wall let's hope it's the case for Star and he earns the money he signed for.
