You literally said “He is going to get all of the stud players in the Detroit/Cleveland area”. That statement implies that he will win recruitments against top-tier schools. If you want to say that he will cut into the Kentucky level of taking the guys Michigan/OSU/PSU pass on that is fine and I’d be somewhat inclined to agree. My point was more that saying he will take a ton of studs from the area was extremely hyperbolic. Only 1 or 2 guys on that list of Kentucky players was a take at any of the bigger schools. Ok, sweet bro....nothing is being accomplished here. Moving along....

naptownskinsfan
I am not sure if this was posted yet.....or even if I did it (it's been a pretty busy week for me) but Tucker's $5.4m salary places him just outside the top 10 salaries for college coaches. For a guy who has one year of head coaching experience and had a losing record. MSU better hope he can deliver.

Lynn Bowden-Wasn't a take for off-field reasons anywhere else. Darius Kinnard-Didn't have an OSU or Michigan offer. Moses Douglass-Wasn't a take at OSU/UM/PSU Jeremy Flax-JUCO kid that was between Kentucky and Auburn. Doesn't really fit this debate. DeAndre Square-Was only a take at Kentucky and MSU. Chris Oats-Wasn't a take at OSU or Michigan Michael Drennen-Was a take at USC but Michigan and OSU prioritized other players.

He’s not going to be pulling any top 3 classes in the B1G. - Harbs being a huge disappointment - Issues with Franklin and Hazing - Tucker learning from Saban and Kirby about cut throat recruiting. - Tucker being a Cleveland guy and has Midwest roots/connections. he could def land top3 type classes in the Big’10. Dantonio wasn’t a big time recruitor. Doesn’t mean Tucker won’t be either
