Why does there seem to be more confidence with Drew Lock being 'the guy' for Denver over Dwayne Haskins in Washington?

How many MVP votes do you think Haskins will get this year? Or over his career for that matter? Do you think it's Zero? Or is it 0? Probably zero, right?

Lol, even Wentz knows he did nothing to win that SB.  He's already said multiple times how much it hurt his little feelings to see it happen.

It's pretty sad that's all Philly fans have to hang onto when it comes to Wentz.  "hE cOuLD HaVe bEEn MVp tHAT oNE YeAr!"  Whatever helps you sleep at night, man.  Lol.

Yes, all we have is a QB that could have been MVP. Do you have one of those?

My team not being called the redskins or whiteskins or something else racist helps me sleep at night. Hail to the racist dynasty!

Really? I mean really? That's where we're going with this? You want to know what helps me sleep at night? Pornhub or my wife on nights she forgets we're married and is a willing participant.

TBH, nothing helps me sleep at night. I know if I close my eyes for too long the slender man will get me.

A. Peterson still under contract.

D. Guice is a stud, but needs to stay healthy.

Bryce Love is a heck of a player, but redshirted his rookie season as a Redskin. He will make his debut this 2020 season.

Which on runs for 2K this season Ace or will it be all 3?

The talent on the field and at HC matters more than the owner, as Jerruh proved in the 90’s. I doubt we go through anywhere near as long of a drought as Philly did before we win our next ring.

You do realize your well over 1/2 way there right? Just saying an entire Generation has been born and turned 30!

2 more decades of Dan Snyder? Not as far fetched as your Dig was intended to be.🍺

QB Ratings against the Atlanta Falcons over the first 8 weeks of the 2019 season:

  • Kirk Cousins - 140.8
  • Carson Wentz - 61.3
  • Jacoby Brissett - 118.1
  • Marcus Mariota - 129.7
  • Deshaun Watson - 158.3
  • Kyler Murray - 128.2
  • Jared Goff - 99.8
  • Russell Wilson - 131.7

Yikes, indeed!

Hey, that was fun :)

That's the problem with posting numbers without context. That was the game DeSean, Alshon and Goedert all left the game injured early in the first QT. Completely killing whatever the game plan was for Atlanta.

Game where Future HOF WR's like Mack Hollins and JJ Arcega-Whiteside were thrust into Starting roles they clearly weren't remotely ready for. Had Agholor not dropped possibly the easiest 60 yd TD you'll  ever see, pretty sure those numbers change as would of the outcome of the game.

Context!

Even with injuries, that was still an ugly loss. That 1-7 Falcons team could have easily gotten blown out by the Bengals, that's how bad they were at one point. That game shouldn't even been within four touchdowns of an injured Eagles squad, much less a healthy one.

You clearly didn't watch the game but by all means Box Score analyze all you want.

I've watched every Falcons game since 2001. Try me.

So tell me, what did I clearly not see in the game that you did? Injuries happened to that Eagles squad, yes. Meanwhile the next week, the Marcus Mariotta Titans completely obliterated Atlanta into dust, same with a mediocre (sorry ET80) Houston squad the week after. And then a garbage Arizona team completely crushed Atlanta in the following week after that, same with a mediocre Rams team. A Seahawks team who failed to impress me as anything more than average also annihilated that Falcons team the week after. None of those games were even remotely competitive. During that 1-7 stretch, the Falcons weren't even playing up to most team's practice squads - they were legitimately one of the worst teams in the league. It's one thing to be losing a lot of games, it's another to be blown out week in and week out on what amounted to a cupcake schedule - they were getting routed by 3-5 touchdowns every week by straight up bad teams.

So if all those teams could do that, an injured Eagles team had no business making that a competitive football game. An injured Eagles team is still better than the Mariotta Titans or the Arizona Cardinals. I'm convinced the Falcons would have lost to most team's practice squads at that point. So just because the Eagles had no business losing that game to a bottom 3 team in the league at that point in the year doesn't mean I didn't watch the game.

why someone will fail, more about a division rival projecting how they want someone to fail.

This is probably how Rams fans felt when I told them their team wouldn't make the playoffs and that Kyle Shanahan was a better coach than Sean mcvay.

If has absolutely nothing to do with the topic at hand, but I was 100% right so I'm gonna keep bringing it up all off-season

Shanahan >> mcvay

I remember hearing the hype of McVay throughout all of 2017, and my Falcons finally get to face him in the playoffs and I was like... that's it? That's the great Sean McVay? That 2017 Falcons team wasn't even good (they were kind of mediocre) and McVay had no answer to them. He got creamed by a bad team at home in the playoffs. You get one of the easiest first round opponents ever and you lay that kind of an egg at home? He's still a good coach but my perception of McVay has always been tainted by that playoff game. Like as in, "he's a good coach yeah but that playoff game was pretty ugly" kind of deal.

Some Falcons fans are still bitter about Kyle leaving but his philosophy on offense completely changed at how I look at football and he's one of the football minds I respect more than anyone else in the NFL. So yeah, I kind of agree with you on that latter point.

Apparently the Eagles game plan flying literally out the window when 3 of their main targets exited the game in less then a QT.

The NFL is a Any Given Sunday League. If it wasn't the Browns dont beat the Ravens, Dolphins don't beat the Patriots, Jets don't beat the Cowgirls, Eagles don't beat the Packers in GB. So forgive me if Atlanta barely beating the Eagles with 3 of their best Offensive players out while playing on the road, doesn't surprise me.

Now if any of those other 6 teams you were so quick to mention routed the Falcons without their 3 Top WR/TE targets, please let me know? 🍺
