Ravens OT James Hurst suspended 4 games for PEDs

Recommended Posts

This is very mild news for the Ravens. Hurst has become a pretty solid fill-in at tackle recently. He's obviously super important if Stanley or Brown miss time. Hopefully that doesn't happen in the first 4 weeks, and we just lose some extra blocker packages early on. This makes his contract 25% cheaper, so another million to work with this offseason.

Now it starts to shed some light onto why players praise that organization and the way they do things.

You can do all the drugs just don't get caught is the ravens motto. Joe Flacco wouldn't have been half the QB he was without all that adderall.

It also sheds some light on why their RB was able to complete so many passes.

 A cheating protector.

It still baffles me how you only get a 4 game suspension for PED use. Like, in MMA you're getting at least 2 years and in any other olympic sport your career is over. Just suspend him a whole season at least.

Because it's just not that important. Using PED isn't going turn Nathan Peterman into a Patrick Mahomes or Aaron Rodgers. Might help his injury recovery but no that much imo

What's more likely: our RB learned how to read a defense or the Ravens came up with a scheme to slam the lid on the gatorade cooler to let Lamar know who is open? You decide.
