1. We will be going by the point system. 1st choice is worth 3 points, 2nd is worth 2, and 3rd is worth 1 point. The player with the most points at the end of the poll will be the selection.
2. Do not select the same player for multiple choices, doing so will nullify your vote(s)
3. If you feel very strongly about 1 player as the choice, you may vote for 1st choice only and abstain from the 2nd and 3rd choice by selecting [[Leave Blank]]
4. If you think a player should be selected that is not listed, please respond with a post who should be the selection.
5. Voting criteria is up to you. Meaning you can vote either for who you think the team SHOULD take, or who they WILL take.

I'll be honest, I don't know enough about the prospects to intelligently vote without doing a lot of googling. But...

@Chiefer @onejayhawk @Kirill @mayanfootball @valkrei @samsel23

Given that the above were all doing mock drafts in the KC forum during our superbowl run, they'll probably be interested enough to vote at least somewhat intelligently for this.

Well apparently I'm the only one who voted RB Jonathan Taylor as his first choice. With no one elite available thats who I would take. He's one of the most decorated college RB's of all time and seems like a true professional. Sure, he's not a scat back who would traditionally fit Andy Reid's screen heavy offense, but he's the best player available in my book. Balance out Mahomes with this dude and we're winning the next 5 chips. When we get to the playoffs and defenses are going full "Slow Down Mahomes" mode this guy would show his worth. He reminds me of Mark Ingram.

Lloyd Cushenberry ,  Zach Baun,   Jeff Gladney.  In that order for me.   But I’m sure it will be our voted

Baun is a poor fit for the defense. He'll do well an many schemes, but we need more size. Cushenberry is reasonable, but I question the value. Gladney would be my first choice. I suspect the ideal is to trade back.

I don't have RB in my top 3 options. Looking at the board for value, CB is the position, plus maybe Gallimore or one of the OT. I would not be shocked if the team went off board. There is not a single TE listed.

I’m thinking Bain gets moved to LB permanent in our 43, possibly SLB

Yeah pick the RB with the most mileage on his tires. Sounds smart

He's still a junior. We are not a run heavy offense anyways, and he would not be facing stacked fronts.

I actually changed my mind though. I'd rather have TE Brycen Hopkins with our first pick, he's just not an option on the poll. We run 2 TE sets like 35-50% of the time, having Hopkins opposite Kelce would be unstoppable. And if Kelce gets nicked up we'd still have a solid TE for those weeks and could use him to keep Kelce fresh as he ages. Hopkins is the main guy I want in this draft. The main thing if we get him is that we don't change our offense to accommodate him.

We'll see his weight at the combine, but he lists at 235. He has the length to bulk up, but that's very light. The Chiefs already have Dorian o'Daniel, though he has been a ST whiz. more than a LB. In any event, 32 is too high for Baun.

That’s a lot of mileage even on a juniors legs

maybe I’d take him 2nd round, and that’s if Dobbins and Swift are gone.

Backup TE first, why? What in Reid’s long illustrious career leads you to believe that he’d value a backup TE that highly. Just re-sign the Belldozer and keep it going.

Chiefs fans have such a fascination with backup TEs I don’t get it.

235 is light? That’s what DJ played at in his prime, in a 34 defense. It’s actually the average weight of our LB Corp aside from Ragland and O’Daniel.

I’d much rather have Patrick Queen if we go LB. he may end up being the pick he’d fit our team perfect next to Hitchens and Neimann
