I think we need to start and question Howie a bit I think he sold the teams soul for that Superbowl run. Now we are heading into an off-season with literally no players in our back 7 on defense which is pretty ridiculous.

I think it was apparent even in 2017 the secondary needed an overhaul.  Brady put up 505 yards in the Super Bowl only completing 58% of his throws, and teams have used that as a blueprint against the Eagles ever since.

Part of the Joe Douglas legacy rests on the drafts that brought in Sidney Jones, Rasul Douglas and Avante Maddox to fix the secondary.  So far the returns have not been good; perhaps the 3 of them can still offer something, but Jones looks like the only one with a chance to be a starting outside CB.

Now the Eagles are back to the FA method, trying to get help via Byron Jones, Bradberry, or Ryan, etc.  One thing is sure — for the Eagles to be a serious contender, the pass defense MUST be fixed.

Joe Douglas has always been overrated, he was brought here to help with the draft, and the players that were drafted while he was here were pretty **** to be honest.

We've had safeties up until now, Linebackers are frankly not that important. The Cornerback situation is the frustrating one. We've actually tried to fix the problem in multiple ways to no real avail. That said you can't just go throwing all of your assets at one position in hopes that it fixes it.

Because he really didn't do anything and would have costed us a 4th round pick.

He didn't do anything cause we never let him see the field. He did good things in Pittsburgh and then he went and did good things in Baltimore.

Cutting Sendejo to get back a 4th made a lot more sense than cutting Fort.
