I hated when we picked him. I’m glad to see him go. Didn’t fit Doms scheme. Doesn’t really fit any scheme because frankly I can’t give you a “strength” of his.

Playing put his rookie contract. He killed that.

From The Athletic

"...But while Fackrell was going from playing 58.6 percent of the Packers’ 2018 defensive snaps to playing 39.9 percent of their 2019 snaps, Coach Smith was adamant that it was through no fault of his own.

“Kyler would start for 31 other teams in the NFL if he was anywhere else,” Smith insisted. “That sucker is a hell of a football player.

“Kyler is an extremely intelligent person. We have our pass-rush meetings and I had him do (a scouting report on) one of the tackles, and it was one of the best reports I’ve seen on a tackle. It was like me standing up there and giving a report to these guys.

“I just love Kyler as a person. He’s one of the brightest kids in the room. You’re talking about a guy that started last year and had a lot of success, and with Z and Preston, he’s only getting 25-30 snaps a game, but he has been a great guy in the room. He grades out the highest every week. He’s just a solid, smart football player who is so valuable to this team. That’s just who he is. He can tell you exactly, before the snap, whether it’s going to be a run or pass. And there’s a damn good chance he’s going to tell you what run it’s going to be.

“When you get guys who do that and take their time and study an offense and its DNA, you’re going to be a damn good football player, a damn good football player. And Kyler is right up there with the best I’ve ever coached.”

another snippet from Wilde at The Athletic

The Packers’ team statistics had Fackrell with 32 quarterback pressures, tied for third on the team behind Za’Darius Smith (51) and Preston Smith (43) during the regular season. He also had 21 quarterback hits (4th on the team) even though he dropped into coverage on a higher percentage of snaps than the Smiths did.

“Kyler’s a big asset to this team as far as the rushing game. He makes a lot of impact that goes unnoticed,” Preston Smith said. “He can rush, he can drop, he can cover guys. He can do anything that the coaches ask. Like a Swiss Army knife, he’s got every tool you’re looking for.”

From the write up, he sounds like he should look seriously at coaching when his playing days are done.

Going by that, it looks like we can't afford him, if we wanted to bring him back.  I was trying to watch him more this season.  In my completely unqualified opinion, he looked like a better player this season, despite the lack of sacks.  I felt like in 18 he was sack or nothing.  I think he contributed a lot more in 19.
