I would imagine life insurance policy premium would run a bit higher for a professional athlete in a contact sport vs a teacher.

A few things:

1. Emphasis on “a little”

2. We are talking about a small policy for a small company

3. Risk of death for teachers today is proportionate to a professional athlete unfortunately, even if the policy has to be on the job, which it definitely doesn’t

Yeah but 3 is only the case because we haven't implemented a nationwide common sense solution: arm NFL players.

Here’s how you crush a union: Turn people against each other.

Start an argument between the lower level players not getting paid vs the higher level players getting paid big bucks.

So much this.

Kind of a good comment I read:

Quote

Everybody in the MLB has money. They’ll hold out.

The NBA is star driven. If LeBron, Kawhi, KD, Steph, etc don’t like the CBA then there will be no basketball.

The NFL players don’t have millions so they’ll sign anything so they can collect a check. The NFL players need to raise the floor for players and picks so they can have more bargaining power in the future.
