Anyone that believes it is, needs to take their homer glasses off and stop drinking the Koolaid. All you're doing is setting yourself up to be disappointed with the 2020 season outcome. We're still quite a few pieces away from being the team ya'll think we already are. It might be hard to repeat 13-3 but if we are playing better overall and end up 11-5 that might be enough to take the NFCN again in 2020. Joe
Just looked at our schedule again, and IMHO the only unwinnable games are on the road at SF and NO. The rest are all certainly winnable and, to be frank, there's no reason we can't go 13-3 again. Two losses to NO and SF and then a fluke loss to Philly or Tennessee or Houston. Yeah, until the off season is over there is no telling who might improve and how might step backwards. Then you have to get through TC and preseason fairly injury free before you have a clue what kind of team you are going to have. We could be a lot better than both San Fran and NO next year. We could take a step or two backwards as well. If we do the necessary thing to shore up our weaknesses, that is all you can do. Then the chips have to fall where they may. I don't see a downturn from NO or SF. If anything, SF's offense gets better at WR and NO continues to solidify that defense some more though I suspect they're going to draft Van Jefferson as a WR2 given some of their issues at WR. We shall see about that! Not too many dynasties in this league and from year to year teams rise and fall, fast. There are some guys on those lists who are going to get paid and neither team has much cap space to keep them. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/san-francisco-49ers/ https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/new-orleans-saints/

Just don't think they fall off like some. I could see both teams fade after next year as this is TOTALLY going to be Brees' last year and SF really only has two or three guys on that list that they can't afford to lose. The vikes built a defense to stop the Packers, spent $ 90 million on Cousins, built a shiny new billion dollar stadium and hired their 4th OC for Zimmer All of that to win the north division and move on to bigger and better things. The Packers fired MM and started from scratch on offense - that should have been an opening for the Zimmers... But at home, with the division on the line and a 1st half that included 3 turnovers by the Packers - they still couldn't seal the deal. You can see how badly that chapped Zimmer's hide
