Thread for discussing noteworthy results

-------

Albert Okwuegbunam ran a 4.49 and 4.50, 40 yard dash.

I loved his tape last year, but his play speed looked absolutely nothing like a 4.6 and instead looked 4.88-like. Play speed is much more important than timed speed, but his impressive 40 is of note because of how he retooled his body for this season relative to last season. That time is a true shocker.

Cole Kemet with an impressive 4.7.

My favorite underrated late-round rising TE is UCLA's Devin Asiasi. He ran a 4.77 40 time. He's going to be an absolute steal.

FAU's Harrison Bryant ran a 4.73

Josiah Deguara the all everything HB/FB/TE ran a 4.72

Adam Trautman, TE Dayton with a 4.8.

Brycen Hopkins with the 4.66.

Stephen Sullivan ran a 4.66, but his tape is consistently cheeks so who cares. He's more of a big-WR instead of TE.

This TE class is getting a little wild.

As expected, the TE on my all-buttcheeks team that a lot of you have loved forever but I never did Jared Pinkney runs a 4.98. That time is one of the better things to his game as his tape is cheeks and has always been cheeks.

Thaddeus Moss isn't running a 40 at the combine and isn't working out due to a Jones-Fracture discovered in his foot during medical checks. Unfortunate for him. Hope he gets healthy soon. Could drop him to the Browns at a favorable draft position.

Most reps since 2011 at combine.... Netane Muti

I still can't comprehend that Albert O, 40 yard time.

It's truly one of the most puzzling results I think I've witnessed in the last 10 years at the combine.

His tape never ever seemed to show a 4.49 speed guy although he looked so much quicker and faster this year.  That improvement is just nuts.

Aiyuk with a 40inch vert

i really like him man he’s so explosive and just all our fast. I think he runs 4.48 or under. Trade Odell or not I would be really happy with him as a Brown

You're pulling away. Just keep your pace up and you got this.

Freaky length. Freaky athleticism.

Tons of people love him, and I was shocked and disappointed that I didn't.

He struggles to separate and isn't a sophisticated route runner. He often gets destroyed at the line on get off.

He is a tremendous run after catch, gadget, move-slot WR that could be a specialist at over the middle routes and gadget plays.

I think a lot of people are speaking of him like he's a top WR1 or WR2, but I never saw that at all. Not in the slightest.

He's a very poor man's version of Slot-Emmanuel Sanders. Not the Emmanuel Sanders that can play and be an explosive factor on the outside.

He's one of the more overrated guys as draft day approaches, but there's tons of better options at WR than him that will be available in round 2 and 3 imo.

Solid player with tremendous tools. A lot to like, but I don't understand the WR1 love he's getting. If we draft him, hopefully I'm wrong.

This. I don't see it at all. Let someone else grab him in the first or high second 🙏🤞.

A lot of hype about Henry Ruggs breaking John Ros's 40 yard time, but I never saw a 4.2 guy on tape despite his insane speed.

He's likely a 4.35 to 4.38 guy which is blistering speed in its own right.

A lot of people will be disappointed when the hype doesn't match reality, but he's still a freak show and top WR option.

He was always overrated based on his name. Maybe now he'll go where he was supposed to--4th-6th 🤷‍♂️.

The highest I have seen him go anywhere is the late 3rd, Idt anyone really expected him to be a high draft pick, he just doesnt have the athletic ability, he is a very good blocker though and would be a good TE2

Yup. He's gonna be special. I'm a big fan--wouldn't hate it if we ended you with him (very unlikely) in a trade into the late first if for some reason he slides and all the other guys worth pursuing at need positions are gone.

82, 98, 129, 81 from the mocks I just looked at on here. I swear I saw him in the late second recently in a mock lately as well. I just wouldn't touch him into at least mid-late fourth and only if the class is all snatched up. Even then...

My guy and late round special impact talent Tyrie Cleveland (Florida): After a false start, runs a 4.47.

Everyone else's favorite Brandon Aiyuk but to me a meh-player with a 4.5

Tall late-round gem John Hightower with a 4.44.

RB/WR Antonio Gibson: 4.4

Rising slot WR Devin Duvernay: 4.4

LSU's Justin Jefferson clocks in at 4.44. A HUGE time for him.

Mid-Round Potential Star Start WR Donovan Peoples-Jones with an out of this world 44.5 inch vertical.

Tape speed looks like 4.51. If he can come out and run low 4.4s, he won't be the mid-round gem anymore and might make it up into early round 3 or even the bottom of round 2 because his tape has everything you'd want except for urgency in routes and consistency.

Chase Claypool who should be a TE-convert with a 4.43
