What happens when peters gets hurt cause he is 38 and is already coming off an injury plague season? Now you want to thrust a rookie into the starting role that most likely was a 3rd rd pick. No thanks. He does not give us time cause we have no idea how much time he can truly give us and I’m not gambling on a player of his age at such an important position

get Conklin and draft a tackle at 10 and be set at tackles for potentially the next 10years

Have you ever researched Conklin? He’s been hurt more than anyone. If injuries are gonna scare you off from an OT, you should be petrified of Conklin.

This is way I probably would go.

Plan B would be a deal for Trent Williams and Conklin.

Remember: The nerds brought Tretter and Zeitler in one off season.

They know that bold strokes are needed to "fix" a deficient OL.

oh he has? 4 years, 3 years he played all 16 games. two years ago he played in only 9 games cause he was having issues with his surgically repaired knee but comes back showing the knee looks just fine, which isnt surprised because full/complete/recovery from an ACL from a physical and mental standpoint takes 12-24 months but you can get cleared for full activities at months. This season, Conklin passed that threshold and was one of the best tackles this year

What is your research?

He’s like 25 and has had 2 serious knee injuries. It’s not exactly a hot take to say he has a troubling injury history.

What two serious knee injuries? He tore his ACL in ‘17. ‘18 he was having issues but never needed surgery on it. He also wasn’t cleared to play until week3 of ‘18, so the dude rushed back. His knee looked fine this year.
