Cam Newton to LAC for 2020 2nd round pick - Carolina seems to be moving on, Cam doctors says he's healthy again.

BREES QB NO none really needed, he goes back for 1 more try $25
DAK PRESCOTT QB DAL transition tag, seems they are far apart on salary, transition lets both the team and Dak to know true cost.  Dallas matches any offer sheet, if not Dak plays 1 year on tag $25(tag)
TOM BRADY QB NE of course he's staying in NE, not sure why you even read this $30
PHILLIP RIVERS QB MIAMI Rivers plays one year while Tagovailoa learns from the bench $20
RYAN TANNEHILL QB TENN transition tag, figure out value on market and either sign tag or work out longer deal $25(tag)
JAMEIS WINSTON QB TB transition tag, Dr Jeckle and Mr Hyde, can win or lose the game for you with his arm.  I think he will cut down the INT and get better, 1 year prove it contract $25(tag)

Why would the Falcons pay Jordan Howard $6M per year when he's worse than Devonta Freeman? That makes absolutely zero sense. If they cut Freeman (which is likely), they're not signing Howard. They're sticking with Hill, Smith, Ollison and a rookie.

 

Chaisson is great for Atlanta.

Hall and Swift are solid for Atlanta as well.

Double dipping on Edge with Lewis is something that I like too. 

 

But in this situation, why wouldn't the Falcons take that $6M from Howard and instead spend it on bringing back Dontari Poe?

Other than the Steelers are franchising Dupree, When have the Steelers not paid their stars?  They over pay.   If they did not pay their stars they should have 60M in cap room but they do not.

Try to mention Bell.  He took LESS money with the Jets than the Steelers offered.  Name others?  I guess you could go back to Chad Brown.  Everyone remembers him...in the 90s.

MIA is not going to take Rivers AND Gordon. That's crazy on its own. What are we going to do with Fitz AND Rivers? That would be like putting 2 betta fish in a small drinking glass and expecting them to play nice....

And I do not believe they pay 14M to Gordon either. 

WR in the 1st is not plausible. We have a solid WR group and adding one would be later in the draft not the 1st. 
Honestly, stopped after 1st.... Sorry, man.

Why do I keep seeing IDL mocked to the Titans? They just drafted Simmons and have Casey and Jones. They need edge rushers and getting one in the 3rd round especially one as average as Taylor makes zero sense. Also Jordan Love is terrible. Wouldn’t touch him at Allen this draft. Can’t see Conklin back with his contract demands. Austin Jackson in the 1st, Jeff Gladney in the 2nd and Denzel Mims in the 3rd would be the best case scenario for this draft. I expect them to use that Conklin money to target a FA edge rusher.

Not only do we not pay or tag Dupree, making EDGE our biggest need but then we draft an extremely raw OT in the 2nd when we don't need him? There are a number of positions that make sense for the Steelers round 2 and OT is not really one of them. EDGE and TE are most likely. Next would be iOL if a guy they like from the top 3 slips. Outside shot at WR or RB if they just are really high on a player available. Definitely not an OT though.
