Is Jeff Okudah as good as they say?

He's 6'1, 205, comes from DB U in OSU, where his tape is fantastic, to go with zero holding/DPI penalties in all of 2019. He's a good but not great athlete in terms of speed, but with his length, change of direction, and footwork, he's definitely a Top 5 prospect. His 41' vertical and 135' also shows how explosive he is. As far as weaknesses go, he's not a top end speed guy and occasionally has issues with good stock blockers, but in terms of coverage, he's a Day 1 impact starter on the outside.

I just don't think he's as fluid as guys like Ward and Lattimore were. He's clearly going to be very good, but I would take the other two over him...at least as prospects.

From a hip fluidity point, I don't disagree, but from a footwork standpoint, he's every bit as good as anyone else, let alone technique, hands, and body control.

He's very good. I don't think he's as good as Lattimore was coming out, but Lattimore was an athletic freak and top-3 prospect. Okudah, to me, isn't a top-3 prospect. I had him tabbed as the 10th best prospect (behind Burrow, Young, Jeudy, Tua, Lamb, Thomas, Brown, Becton, and Wirfs). He looked gosh-awful at the Combine, though. The Combine tends to be very important for corners, considering that the top corners from the past several draft classes were all Combine stars, and guys that struggled at the Combine have been consistently burned to this point. Heck, Jaire Alexander wasn't on most people's radars as arguably top corner in the 2018 class until everyone saw his fluidity and athleticism in the drills. I still have Okudah in the 10-20 range, but I was scared by his performance, and his position is the only one that I'm going to judge heavily based on Combine performance for.

I'm curious.  How do you think he looked gosh-awful?

He had great numbers and looked very fluid before he took the tumble.

Pretty much what @Ragnarok said....

Am I missing something here?
