NudeTayne
@DaWg_LB., I would be incredibly happy if this were our offseason. We get Delpit at a position where I don't worry about him being an overdraft. I'd be excited to toss him next to our other LSU bargain in the secondary. Everyone seems to have forgotten about Raekwon or else out him into the "must be 3-4 DE" convo. He'd be great value at 70 and could still be there, as the tier-2 group of DT has a lot of guys. Something tells he Okbuegnam gets overdrafted due to his combine and the lead-up to this last season. Maybe we grab another OL or WR there if Okbuegnam is long gone. I don't see us replacing Vernon at DE. I'd rather get the compensatory next season and not run out of depth at DE again, but that's about the only disagreement I have. Toss in Anthony Harris and we're sizzling. The off-season looks nice, though 👌👍.
Kiwibrown
I agree with tayne that keeping vernon is the lesser of two evils, one being overpaying a guy and the other being no depth at de. Kirksey has to go though, his 1st year of the new contract was average and then after that he has always been hurt.
DaWg_LB.
Thank you for the comments on the offseason. I was looking at Harris, but if were looking at getting some money back in cap room for our upcoming contract. IF we are able to grab a Delpit in round 2...I am still looking to see what we got in Sheldrick Redwine (who did not look lost last year) and I am also a fan of JT Hassle at SS. I know with Murry and Burris we could get them both for half of what Anthony Harris is going to cost...
