Re-sign

K Greg Zuerlein

OT Andrew Whitworth

OLB Dante Fowler Jr. (Franchise Tag)

DL Morgan Fox

Free Agency

OLB- Kyler Fackrell

QB- Nate Sudfeld

The Rams grab 2 young and talented players that are both looking for more opportunities to become a starter and safety peice for the Rams. Fackrell will be a nice cheap replacement for Fowler, great motor and is very explosive off of the edge. Kyler had his best year in rotation playing accross from Clay. Like Fowler, Fackrell is ready to prove that he is an up and coming playmaking starter in this league. And Nate will come in and Replace Bortles as the true backup. Nate has been under good coaching with the Eagles, he has played well in the Pre Season each year, getting better with the more experience. He is a big kid that has a big arm and good vision to work with.

Trades

( I might of Borrowed some of Jrry32 Trades, they just made since, thank you, lol)

Rams trade OLB Dante Fowler Jr.

Dolphins trade Round 2 Pick #24 and a 2021 Round 4 Pick

The Dolphins need playmakers in a bad way and they have lots of money to spend. Fowler just priced his way right out of the Rams budget.

Rams trade 2: Round 2 Pick #20

Redskins trade: Round 3 Pick #2, Round 4 #3 and Round 6 Pick #2

The Redskins jump all the way back into the 2th Round in order to grab a player that has fallen that is high on their board as a positive day one contributor. With the Rams being low on depth we jump back into the late 3rd and grab a high extra 4th and 6th Rounder. Les Snead in Front Office isn't playing with trying to get the best talent. With these moves we get some very explosive talent at some positions of need now.

Draft

2. (24) Jordyn Brooks-ILB, Texas Tech

The Rams utilize this trade pick of Fowler in order to grab a nice replacement for Littleton in the middle. Jordyn is a fast and dangerous linebacker with excellent sideline to sideline speed for the Texas Tech. He is a strong tackler and has really good awareness with a great motor. Brooks will be a tackling specialist for the Rams as a Day 1 Starter in the middle. Brooks will be able to not be so pressured up the middle as every team will have to focus on Aaron Donald first, then Clay also coming off the edge also.

3. (2) Ezra Cleveland-OT, Boise State

The Rams are very serious about protecting there future. Ezra has did nothing all but prove that he is a very good offensive linemen this off season. Ezra played well as the left tackle, great quick feet and balance, good strength and Awareness also. He would come in and learn behind Whitworth. Cleveland gives us a possible chess peice and option to rotate or start at gaurd/right tackle for this year.

3.(20)  Rashard Lawrence-DT, LSU

The Rams are extremely happy too grab a great leader for LSU Defense. Rashard is very disruptive and is an excellent run stuffer with excellent lateral quickness in the middle. He would be the perfect replacement for Michael Brockers and a great fit next to Aaron Donald. Lawrence when he is consist has 1st Round talent, but we get a steal here because of a very deep and talented defensive linemen draft.

4. (3) Daryl Williams-G/C, Mississippi St.

The Rams aren't playing with Beefing up the interior line. Daryl played very well for the Bull Dogs as a guard and even better as a Center. He will come in and compete for our day one starting position at the center spot. This gives us another nice chess peice as well as a possible nice rotational peice for the Rams if needed.

4.(20)  Jeremy Chinn-S, Southern Illinois

The Rams and New Defensive Coordinator Brandon Staley is very happy about this pick up. Jeremy is an absolute baller that will give us very nice talent for Staley's defensive packages. Chinn is very explosive with deadly speed, as well as a very solid leader and hard hitting playmaking safety in college. Jeremy will come right in and fill the Marqui Christian role in our defense. Giving us some great depth with John Johnson coming back, with the ability to slide right in to one of the starting spots if a injury occurs. Chinn will also be a nice addition as a special teamer.

4. (34) Alton Robinson-OLB, Syracuse

Alton was just a wrecking ball of pain for the Orangemen. He has a great first step with some excellent moves to get into the back field. Alton is a big and strong versatile edge rusher that can also play the 5 position. Robinson will come in and compete, learn from Clay and give us more very Solid Depth off the Edge

6 (2) Shaquille Quarterman-ILB, Miami

This is another kid that I really like. Shaquille made sure his presence in the middle was felt for Miami. He is a strong hard hitting linebacker that also plays with a nasty streak. I love how he gets off the blocks and just recks plays. He can be a very nice 2 down backer for us. His Coverage skills needs a little improvement.

6 (20) Darrynton Evans-RB/KR/PR, Appalachian State

This is just one of those Best Player Available picks that the Rams just can't past up. Darrynton is a very explosive and elusive back that should be going a couple rounds earlier if this wasn't such a strong running back draft. Evans can come in as a gaget guy and receiver along with Henderson giving the Rams 2 talented options behind Gurley.

7 (20)  Levonta Taylor-CB, Florida State

This is another one of the Rams grabbing the beast available talent left on the board. Levonta in no way once so ever should he be going this late in the draft with the talent and covering abilities that this kid has in him. His last couple years just where inconsistent from injuries to playing all the different positions. Taylor is so little and small, he will have to get stronger. His true position is at the slot, who better than Robey-Coleman to mentor him. Levonta can end up being the steal of the draft if he can just channel that same swagger that had him as the #1 Recruit in the Nation going to Florida St.
