My General Draft Day Predictions:

1.) Jalen Hurts, QB Oklahoma is going to be a Pittsburgh Steeler.

• A lot of buzz in league circles that he's the Apple of Kevin Colbert & Mike Tomlin's eye. They'll trade up towards the upper part of the 2nd Round and get their QB1 of the future. Browns fans will laugh at his struggles in the pre-season or whenever he first gets some playing time, but a few years in the league such fans won't be laughing at all. Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow, Baker Mayfield, and Jalen Hurts would make for a dynamic AFC North QB competition. It feels like Hurts would always be bringing up the real in such a race, but you never know based on how things could potentially be built around him. It's going to come down to the Steelers or the Raiders.

2.) 2 Tackles will go top 10 with Jedrick Wills coming off the board first followed by Mekhi Becton 2nd.

3.) If a 3rd Tackle goes top 10, it will be Andrew Thomas and not Tristan Wirfs. Tristan Wirfs will go top-15, but he won't go top 10.

4.) The Browns may surprise everyone by selecting Derrick Brown even if the 3rd or 4th tackle is still on the board, but just know he may have been there guy for a very long time

• A lot of buzz that Berry and Co. feel like next Chase Young that Derrick Brown is the best player in the draft and that they might even take him if all the Tackles are still on the board. To me, that sounds absolutely nuts and insane as if Wills on the board you sprint to turn the card in and then you celebrate like you've never celebrated before. If somehow Jeff Okudah fell, a lot of buzz that they'd also select him over a few tackle prospects

Who's the 2nd QB off the Board? Tua, Herbert, or Love?

--- Justin Herbert comes of the board 2nd after Burrow and goes ahead of Tua in a draft day surprise.

Who are the 1st 2 Tackles off the board?

--- Jedrick WIlls Jr. and Mekhi Becton

Who do the Lions Select?

--- Isaiah Simmons

Who do the GIants Select?

--- Jedrick Wills Jr. or Mekhi Becton

Who do the GIants Select? Mehki Becton.

What Are Your General Predictions? Call Your Shot. Browns will trade up into the 1st with Seattle to select an offensive linemen again. Either Ezra Cleveland or Cesar Ruiz.

There's just no way Jedrick Wills Jr. isn't the first Tackle taken.

I just can't see it at all. Whether a certain GM loves a certain type of player or not, it's just impossible for me to believe Wills isn't seen as the clear OT1.

I think it's in stone that Wills will be the first Tackle selected.

Reason has to prevail.

While you're nailing a classic @Mind Character in your wallowing in the letdown of an unfortunate outcome that has not even come to fruition, in this case I'd say I believe what you're speaking of is most likely, that Wills is likely at least OT2 on most draft boards so will likely be gone top-7. Still, spot 10 is a heart blue chip position this year.

Gms will get scared and want to trade up for more sure products, or good teams will want to trade back into next year. 

Guys who went to the combine and guys from big schools will get drafted a lot esrlier than normal. 

It is a great time to have ypur qb, and to be a stable franchise, exponential advantage this year. 

Bottom of the draft could be an absolute crap shoot.

I strongly feel that Jacksonville needs to trade up for Tua, and I could see it happening 

Redskins stay at 2 and draft Chase

Dolphis dont have to trade up for Tua 

Patriots don't draft a QB within the first 3 rounds

I think that they shock the world and trade back to #5 with Miami for a king's ransom. I think that if they play this right, they could then trade back AGAIN with San Diego and sucker them out of another pick or two.

If for some reason Wills and Thomas are gone at #10, I hope the Browns trade back/trade back/trade back some more and stockpile a bunch of draft assets over the next two years. I would then CONSIDER trading for Trent Williams (1 year rental) with that ammunition, and then load up and take advantage of the deep WR class, deep pass rushing EDGE class in Rounds 3-4, try to get a guy like Driscoll and Tyler Biadasz. As disappointed as I would be to not get Wills and Becton, I would settle for something like this:

Trade back from #10 to #13 (SF) for a 2020 3rd.

Trade back from #13 to #17 for a 2021 2nd.

#17 Austin Jackson, OT USC. He's raw and not ready to start Year 1, but the upside is definitely there. Trade the last of our 3 3rd rounders for Trent Williams.
