THE DUKE
I don't blame AJ for being salty at getting tagged, but I absolutely think it was the right move by the Bengals. He's missed a LOT of games because of injury and is getting older. He needs to show the NFL he's the same AJ Green before he can even hint at a mega contract. If they're even held, he's on the record as saying that he won't be participating in anything optional without a contract. Catch-22.
sparky151
He's also said he'll sign the tender and wants a long term deal. OTAs are optional, mini-camps aren't. So the team will get a chance to see AJ on the field before they have to decide on a long term deal.
