This is beyond dumb. Some team would have offered 45-50 per. Why?

Easy, take the 2 firsts in that case and start from scratch, new Coaching Staff with a new QB that he’s not inheriting.

If we don’t get a deal done before July now, which at this rate I don’t see them doing, is gonna be well beyond 40 mil per season next year.

I would love to get 2 1sts for Dak

Imagine 4 1sts over the next 2 seasons, with the ability to move up in this years draft....

Cool. The Patriots send us two first round picks. What QB are you drafting at 17?

Or. The Bears send us two first round picks. Now we ONLY have 1 pick in the first this draft. We are we taking?

It is exceedingly narrow view to think because Romo and Dak have literally fallen into our laps that we won't make a mistake. Or did everyone forget we wanted Lynch? And Johnny Football?

Good.  Gives us more time to come to a more suitable agreement.

We've had a year.  The price only gets richer, every time another qb re-signs, or signs a new contract.   It just seems to me like Dak is blindly listening to his agent, or thinks he saved this organization.

Anyone defending this move is nuts

We let a Top 10 WR and a Top 10 CB hit the open market because we had to resort to franchise tagging the QB we’ve insisted for years is our guy for the long term. This **** doesn’t happen. Embarrassing

Agree.   Either he's our guy and quit fighting over a couple mil per year,  or he's not worth it, and use the non-exclusive.     Is there some analytics chart, where it's ok to add a few mil every couple weeks that go by?
