im suprised we havent tried Using Benn More. hes got some Size/Speed.

you know who we need to use more. we Need to try James out more. the guy seems like a potential Redzone threat with his Size and athleticism.  he was compared to Ladarius Green so hes gotta be atleast half-way decent.

Benn is like 30.  He's proven time and time again that he's not anything.  He's a reserve/depth/special teams guy.  Cool, nothing wrong with that for him.  But he's not an NFL possession receiver.  He's not what we need.

Hes 6 foot 2 220 with 37 vert. Should be considered for a potential redzone target.

i beg to differ. Look at our Former TE Zach Miller who was essentially a Injury-prone TE who essentially missed 3 years with Injuries and then turned into a Solid Starter.

Thats just cherry picking one guy out of how many guys? Likelihood? Core ST, depth WR.

im saying to use him as a redzone Option. nothing crazy about putting one our biggest WRs in redzone plays.  im not saying make Benn a starter or anything. all im saying he we have a BIG WR whos got some Hops and right now we have no proven Redzone targets outside of maybe lewis(but hes declined).  is it 2 crazy to think a big wr  should get a shot in the redzone?

At this point in his career when hes been tested as a WR option (Im sure in the redzone too) and sits at the bottom of a depth chart that lacks a large posession receiver likely says yes, its crazy.

There's a reason he isnt getting a shot thus far and a reason we just brought in another potentially big bodied posession guy that likely gets reps over him.

with the way this team thinks from Coughlin to Caldwell to Marrone its clear they have no clue what they are doing.

We have to consider that this isn't Benn's first rodeo as well. If he was going to be a good red-zone target, one of his previous teams would've already tried to maximize that potential.

you also have to consider the Fact Benn essentially missed 4 straight years with injuries and stuff.  its not like he was really given a chance.

Dude, you can hate the coaches/staff here as much as you want but if Benn had shown legit redzone potential he would have been given a chance. He is what he is.

Just because a guy has size and solid combine #'s doesn't mean a guy is going to use his size the right way/be a threat.

oh ya lets throw lobs to Benn cuz allen robinson isnt any good at redzone.(saracam font).

you have to remember the Bradley staff refused to essentially admit any mistakes like Benching house for giving up a big game vs hopkins but continued to start zane beadles at LG.

benns never really been given a halfway decent shot on offense outside  of really 2 years with the bucs were he was their number 2 wr to Mike Williams.

This is going no where. Just going to have to agree to disagree.

In 3 years and 37 games with the Bucs, Benn was able to amass 5 touchdowns and around 800 yards. He missed 11 games. He was traded to the Eagles in 2013 and tore his ACL. He was out of the league from 13 until 2016. Benn has been a stout ST player for the Jags. Since entering the league in 2010 Benn has shown 2 things. He's a great ST player and he's injury prone.
